## The Marriage App Description
The Marriage App provides a daily boost to help you strengthen your marriage relationship: a story or word of encouragement, a verse of scripture, and a concrete suggestion for connecting with your spouse. From their more than 30 years of experience in marriage counseling, Drs. Paul and Virginia Friesen provide a practical, biblically based app that can help you have the marriage you have always desired.

This app is a companion to the book “The Marriage App: Unlocking the Irony of Intimacy." The book and the app can be used together or independently.

Drs. Paul and Virginia Friesen, founders of Home Improvement Ministries, have a passion for encouraging couples to find the joy and satisfaction that God designed for couples to experience in marriage. They each have a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Paul and Virginia have three adult daughters and two sons-in-law, and are very proud grandparents. In addition to their ministry of speaking, writing, and counseling, they have ongoing relationships with various professional sports teams.  They are authors of ten books and four DVD series focusing on marriage relationships and parenting.

I downloaded this app , I feel the number and email should be optional , its kind iffy they want to put your spouse or wife phone number and email . Why do they need ? Unfortunately for me to use this app I can even see around what they offer, because the will ask you for a phone number or an email . I will give a 5 stars that fact the seems very , but please update and take on the phone number and email , sound more scam or take our information

This app gave me a fresh perspective. At the beginning was just to take my mind off our brokenness. Then i told my self I was going to do what I could not force anything. I would specially open the app when I was sad/upset. Then everything started changing for the better within me. Then it gave me clever ideas to start conversa not confrontations. Sure it’s not a magic passion but I appreciate the pause in our chaotic relationship. I was able to breath and gain new strength and specially new wisdom. We love each other but sometimes we do not know how to.

It was so great that the app sent my wife an email, right after the days lesson!  It gives you something to do to bless your spouse, for example, “tell your spouse something that you appreciate about them”.  So you write something right in the app and it sends it off.  
I love this because i dont put it off.  I have good intentions and i love my wife, but i just get too busy or too focused on other things.  What good is a daily reminder if you dont do it?  
These are just little things but that is what makes a great marriage!

Hubby and I have been married nearly 23 years. Married at 17 and 19 and no one expected us to last. Through many prayers and Paul's supporting us (Paul like leadership) we have leaned into God first and each other to survive and thrive. This app has been a joy to experience. We communicate well already and are exceptionally close but each day it asks you to specifically discuss some part of your relationship (guided discussion) with your spouse and these are some of the most precious words I've ever exchanged with him. 100% recommend even for the most seasoned of marriage.
