I use to believe NYT advertising about being the truth tellers. After the war in Gaza it proves to be completely wrong. Deeply disappointed.

I like NYT as a news source. However, the app is currently not working for me. It gets stuck after a couple of seconds and needs to force quit, and the same happens when opening the app again
Quits unexpectedly
Was a great app before it started quitting unexpectedly.
Dark Mode
Hello, amazing app, but I’m missing a dark mode feature to make it easier to read and make the display overall look better. 💗💗💗
does not work on iPad/iPhone
does not work on iPadOS and crashes every 2-3 min on an iPhone. This has been like this month now and it makes the app unusable. I guess there is little point paying for my nyt subscription anymore.
Slow and sluggish
The app is much to slow.ones nin t compare well to e.g., the Guardian apps.
Dark mode
I really miss dynamic dark mode. I would also like to see «Sign in with Apple».
Force close after update
Not able to start after update. Force close each time.
Please don't hide the tab bar
NYT is one of my favorite new apps, and the tab bar has made it so much better... as long as it's visible: Please(!) don't hide it every time I open an article - that kind of destroy the point of it: Keep the tab bar visible so that I can switch section without back-navigation through all opened articles first, and so I can also just tap it again from the tab I'm in; in order to get straight back to the start page of the tab. I might often want to open For You as my next move after having read a couple of articles deep from Top Stories. I can then tap For You directly, or even just tap Top Stories again to get back to the top-level of it. Please also always remember in which tab I left the app, so that which tab I view remains my choice.
Sluggish and slow
Great content, but the app is pretty slow and it is a chore to use it.
