The app is free to download. Subscribers receive unlimited access. Most current New Yorker subscribers have unlimited access to the app as part of their existing subscription. Subscribers with a print-only subscription may not have unlimited access. App subscribers have full access to the Web site, including the archive and most recent issue. Users who have trouble accessing stories can e-mail [email protected] for assistance.
Non-subscribers may access the app by starting a free trial. A subscription costs $11.99 a month or $119.99 annually, and includes a 7-day free trial, after which it will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and will state the cost of renewal. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by updating the user’s App Store Subscription settings after purchase. Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.

Did you ever try to read an article with a video or animation playing on the same page? Please stop allowing google to put video ads in the articles. Please.

I have written on three occasions as there seems to a technical problem linking my subscription number to the magazines app and digital access. I have paid my subscription but am prevented from logging in. I have sent three emails and not received a single response, not even an automated one.

Great content, but impossible to subscribe and read on the app, other than the few free articles which are available. I’ve tried emailing the development team on many occasions to no avail.

Please create a dark mode

The app is great during the day, but unusable for reading at night because there is no way to put it on dark mode with a black background.

Crashes on older iPad

After years of working properly updated app systematically crashes when I try to download magazine. Push on Apple’s part to get us to buy new devices at outrageous price. Please fix.

When did The Atlantic decide that everyone wanted to listen to their articles instead of reading them? A truly horrible idea that will probably result in canceling my subscription.

I have had the worst issues with this app and trying to get my problems resolved through Conde Naste. I’d say it’s not worth the trouble it’s such a hassle

App wouldn’t refresh on iPad 😂

I have the app on both iPhone and iPad but I prefer iPad to read the longer articles. Everyday morning my phone refreshes the new articles but my iPad doesn’t. All my other news apps work on the iPad. My current alternative is to delete the app every day morning and reinstall it😂. It’s kinda ritual but please help
