The New Yorker

The 1st time I tried the app was more than 10 years ago on my iPad. It wasn’t bad then. The New Yorker still has great content except now is so well designed, intuitive and works on both iPhone and iPad so efficiently and effortlessly. Bravo.

I love reading The New Yorker in bed and I’ve been waiting for a night mode to ease in to sleep. My phone is always in dark mode so your app seem extra bright. Thank you 🌺

I love NewYorker but subscription policy is very confusing, subscription info, like account no, is impossible to find and it’s crucial for canceling subscription. Canceling subscription is huge hassle. All links for canceling are broken so if you want to cancel subscription it is best to star writing mails on time. It’s pity that such a fine magazine doesn’t have hassle free policy. I block payment for NewYorker (CondoNest) trough my bank so they will not be able to renew subscription... I’ll be beck as subscriber when I see they start with monthly, hassle free plans (this yearly plan is a bit too much for me). Till then I’ll be fine with few free articles per month. ... also, when you paying for reading, your privacy shouldn’t be exploited through the mobile app

They took 99.99$ on my account and I didn’t even use the app. I want to cancel but they aren’t answering

The app is great during the day, but unusable for reading at night because there is no way to put it on dark mode with a black background.

I get that you can’t do it with the historical articles, but get with the times, please.

After years of working properly updated app systematically crashes when I try to download magazine. Push on Apple’s part to get us to buy new devices at outrageous price. Please fix.

When did The Atlantic decide that everyone wanted to listen to their articles instead of reading them? A truly horrible idea that will probably result in canceling my subscription.

I have had the worst issues with this app and trying to get my problems resolved through Conde Naste. I’d say it’s not worth the trouble it’s such a hassle
