### *---- "Not well-fit for every lifestyle"
Almost every single text I get from the nudge is always alcohol related, which is really annoying for people who don’t drink alcohol, and it sends me multiple activities, both of them are either bars or some other drinking experience. Because of that, it is almost impossible to do any activities that the nudge sends me, and makes it useless to have the app if all it sends me are activities that aren’t friendly for everyone.

I was very excited to sign up for this when I moved to Brooklyn and won a free year of premium. However, in three months I’ve only found one or two things to do. You can tell who they want their clientele to be because when they asked me one day to select what part of Brooklyn I lived in to get suggestions, the only options were areas like Williamsburg, Bay Ridge, and Greenpoint — if you don’t live in an expensive and trendy area, you don’t exist to them. 

I regularly get restaurant suggestions for Michelin star places and wellness retreats at luxury spas, despite choosing options that suggest I’m looking for affordable and creative things to do. 

The style is all done in influencer tktk-style videos that show transplants overpaying for things like potato chip bag bars, very obviously touristy or gimmicky. And the influencers don’t feel genuine.

Posting here as feedback since I don’t know where else to go with this. My phone won’t even let me log in the the app, I type my number and the keyboard blocks any other action I might be able to take—can’t hit enter, can’t move forward, nothing. It’s really frustrating because I click on the links texted me and they just take me to this impassable login screen.

I realized I hadn’t heard from this app in a long time, so I opened it and it made me sign up as if I never used it before. Then when I said no to premium I see that I can get one idea but everything else you have to pay for. It didn’t used to be this way, and I did several ideas from the app that were free and fun. I deleted the app. I can find this kind of content online for free.

The first thing the app does is ask for your phone number. You put it in and there’s nowhere to hit enter or return. It’s like Groundhog Day. It just keeps taking you back to the beginning. If this is a glitch, you might want to consider fixing it. Stat. Horrible and useless app.

Half of the stuff they send is for “Nudge Plus” only, which are paying members. They push really hard to get you to pay when I could just use Google. Then, when they do send free stuff, you are forced to download an app to see the “plans”. Unsubscribed

I upgraded to the premium subscription but can’t access the recommendations because the app is bugging. When I try to sign in with my phone number, there’s no option to go to the next page and login. Useless.

### **--- "TikTok Style Clout Chasing Reviews"
Originally, Nudge was a service that would give recommendations for events happening in your town every weekend - a unique and high demand service. 

Now, it’s a generic app for people to attempt to gain some clout by making TikTok style videos of hidden/secret spots and blowing it up for the communities that truly loved them.

I got charged almost $50 bucks for this and they claim they offer refund within 14 days. I submitted a request and still nothing. There is no real support. No one to talk to. They handle requests through google forms. Seems like a scam. Not worth it.

This app could be amazing, but it’s not super intuitive, and super buggy and glitchy. I had nudge plus for a while, and never found it useful. I got some good ideas, but I think what i’m looking for isn’t on this platform. The AI texting feature did not work most of the time, and there is no customer support. I think this app has major potential, just not there yet. If you’re curious, just get the free version. I wish I never paid for it :/

Really frustrated, tried it while in Chicago and got charged for the yearly membership (which was annoying because I didn’t need this app, I was only visiting for a few days) and anyways the app didn’t really give a lot of good suggestions for plans (my opinion). Now I get excessive and incessant texts from the nudge and despite how many times i text STOP, it tells me to go to my account, and because I was charged for the yearly membership, it provides no button to unsubscribe and escape from their automatic texts. I’ve emailed for a refund and if not, atleast to stop the texts. No response 👎🏼Tomato tomato

At first this app was great giving me suggestions for places to go which I thought would all be free then they started suggesting 18+ spots and stuff that’s cost money still I’m like okay cool then I get a text saying to just answer 5 questions and I’ll get a nudge plus 2 months for FREE! I thought great I answer the 5 questions and it says click here for nudge free it previews the wallet app for me pay and it says I have to pay 0.01 which is not what the original message said but I’m like whatever it’s just a cent I can spare that so you would imagine my utter shock and surprise when it gets declined because nudge attempted to charge my card for $47.99!! That’s insane that’s not what the preview charge indicated at all and it read as “nudge temporarily hold” which they did not at all notify me about prior so just imagine I had that money present in my bank account. That’s insane and not okay and when I say that it gives me the option to take up my frustration with some link which I press which does not do much help at all.

I signed up for the texts because i thought it was a cool concept, and then when i downloaded the app, immediately almost all the options on there are for premium users. It’s crazy to have “Best bars in the neighborhood” list under a nearly $50 premium pay wall. Like… girl, we can just google that. Thats so silly and expensive for such a limited and redundant app.

All these exciting outings used to be free to view and now it’s behind a paywall. If you can find these same things on Instagram and TikTok then what’s the point in paying to see these experiences? It would be fine if Premium were just for some excursions and came with some perks at those places, but it’s ALL behind a paywall and forcing everyone to either buy the Premium on subscription or stop using it and I’m probably going to be the one to stop using it. I just installed it and now I’ll uninstall it. Thanks for nothing.
