Great Idea
I’ll start with the technical side: the app freezes constantly, making it nearly unusable. On a conceptual level, I was drawn to the idea of this being a community for sober individuals—not necessarily as an extension of AA, but as a broader space where people could connect in different ways. I was excited by the potential for activities like museum trips, group dinners, walking meetups, or creative pursuits like painting, art classes, and photography. It sounded like a great way for people to step away from the bar scene and form meaningful connections. Unfortunately, the reality of the app was nothing like what I envisioned. It feels far more limited in scope than I expected, and the technical issues just add to the frustration. At this point, I’m likely going to uninstall it—it’s disappointing when the concept doesn’t live up to the execution, and on top of that, it simply doesn’t function. 1 Star due to functionality issues, 5 Stars for the idea and potential.
