## The Prescription App Description
The MyPrescriptions App from The Pharmacy Centre, a trading name of Medicinechest Ltd, enables you to manage your NHS repeat prescription ordering with your Pharmacy if it is a part of our website network. Look to see if your pharmacy’s website displays the Medicinechest Ltd and The Pharmacy Centre logos.

Medicinchest Ltd provides websites for independent pharmacy businesses via its thepharmacycentre.com service representing over 1500 physical branches and about 50 NHS internet pharmacies who are gradually enabling online repeat ordering via their websites and this App.

This App syncs with your online repeat prescription ordering account on your pharmacy’s website. Set a reminder on the website and as well as getting an email, you will get a reminder on your phone. Add a medicine in the App and it will also show in your medicine list on your pharmacy’s website.

With this App you can safely and securely
- Find and sign up with a Pharmacy.
- Keep your medicine list up to date; add, delete or edit medicines.
- Set reminders to re-order so you order prescriptions in good time and are not late getting your medicines. You will receive these via email and on your phone. 
- Order your prescriptions or let your pharmacy know you have ordered from your GP already.
- Send a note to your Pharmacy along with your prescription order.
- Receive status updates on your prescription order from your Pharmacy such as, when it is ready for delivery to your door, collection from your Pharmacy or whether you need to contact your GP.
-Check your pharmacy's opening hours and services.

Please check your Pharmacy’s website for the full privacy policy but the long and short is, your data is only accessible by trusted staff at your Pharmacy, GP surgery and at Medicinechest Ltd for the purposes of managing your prescription orders and of supporting the use of and further development of this App.

### **--- "Still sitting “pending approval” two weeks later"
I used the app, connecting everything as required. I found my script, forwarded it to the pharmacy, and waited. 

After ten days of seeing it in the pending file, I calls the pharmacy. Usually if I call them and leave a message, I get my script within a couple of days. They couldn’t even see my request. 

I have checked and everything matches. 

Binning the app and going back to calling. A nice idea that fails miserably in execution.

Simply does not work. 
Registered and then went back and it wouldn’t work. Tried to reset password and it wouldn’t send the code. Then tried to register with a different email address which it let me do, but then wouldn’t let me sign in or send a reset code to the new email address. 
Great idea if you work at the time the doctors or pharmacist is open, but not if it doesn’t work.

Registered with Darnley pharmacy requested a repeat prescription on 25th had a message saying approved sent to gp didn’t hear anything phones my gp today to be told they issued my prescription on 26th was collected by Darnley 28th no update had been made on the request, I requested for delivery for the items, I contacted the pharmacy to see what was going on to be told my prescription is ready but not down for delivery now I have to wait till Monday for my meds lucky I requested a week early 
My advise if you don’t hear any update within a couple of days give your gp or Pharmancy a call as more than likely they have it waiting for you to collect I done this service so I didn’t have to go through all this drama and I’m still having to do it app really needs sorting

Having used it for a couple of years without issues it’s now the clunkiest non intuitive app on the App Store I reckon. It’s so dreadful I’m writing this review and deleting the app. Developers you have got this so wrong

Used app to order prescription 10 days ago. Still says it’s been ordered from surgery waiting for it to come back. Surgery say it was sent to chemist next day and the drugs have been sitting in chemist since then. This app DOESN’T keep you updated.

### *---- "Not FIt For Purpose"
I have used this app twice now and when it comes to making sure your medication is available on time 2 failures doesn't cut it. I requested the items required, it all seems to go through okay, I have a prescription order number and the meds are awaiting approval. After 5 days, I call the pharmacy who have no record of the request. I'd suggest writing your prescription on to some paper, wrap it round a nice heavy stone and throwing it in to the sea. It'll be equally useful.

App completely unresponsive on my XR running iOS 15, just shows a white screen and goes nowhere. It was the same all through the 15 beta, so there’s been months for this issue to be picked up and worked on. Developer needs to update this urgently, some people will be dependent on this.

By downloading and using this app you’ll wonder why you used to spend time re-dialing your GP’s practice or your chemist.. or even taking repeat prescriptions into them. It’s so easy to order your repeats now.
My first attempt at using this app wasn’t faultless as I was hesitant to click the ‘Order’ icon. I thought I would receive everything on my repeat list of medication if I clicked on the ‘Order’ icon but luckily when you do click the ‘Order’ icon a screen opens asking you which items you actually need ordering.. phew!
Once ordered you receive confirmation emails at each stage of the process keeping you informed.
Overall a brilliant time saving app... Happy repeat ordering.
