## The Providence Journal Reviews in United States

### ***** "Love the e-newspaper version"
I read the e-newspaper version every day. It’s my favorite way to read the news
-- Chip T. Yipper, 2026-08-23

### *---- "Can’t login & Apple subscription never works"
The log-in window rarely loads so that I can login and access subscriber content. That, and I paid for an annual subscription via Apple in March and have yet been able to activate it in the app so I’ve paid for a year of nothing.
-- mckgib39, 2026-07-05

### ***-- "Fix Algorithm For Stories From Second Paper"
Having access to a second paper is nice. I get the ProJo and Newport Daily News, but the Newport stories are just a repeat of the Providence ones. The algorithm should select only stories unique to the Newport paper, including town and restaurant news. And please stop with the animated gifs. I’m fine with seeing ads, and I’d even consider paying for ad free, but the moving ads make me switch away from the app.
-- Wishing Rocks RI, 2026-06-28

### ***** "Keep up the great work of information"
Use this as my source for daily news. Great job. This Presidency Magazine is top notch. Info I never knew.
-- Jharonian, 2026-06-10

### ***** "Not at all"
I preferred the old version with the newspaper layout. I never read the entire paper this way. Change it back,
-- Begged eggs, 2026-06-06

### ***** "Enjoying"
The Providence Journal is a very enjoyable read with the different sections of the paper. I enjoy the sports, local/world news
-- mrbig88$$, 2026-05-12

### **--- "What?"
What good is an app? If you can’t manage your subscription through it? That has to be done through the website. Subscription management is also flawed in that. I renewed my payment method and it didn’t go through.
-- Swamp toe, 2026-04-24

### *---- "Totally disfunctional"
The app recognizes my name, says hello Kevin but will not open and continually tries to get me to subscribe. Tried many avenues to resolve such as deleting app and reloading signing in signing out signing in nothing works. Just amazingly poor functionally inept app.
-- Kevinxxxxc, 2026-03-26

### ***** "Look forward to it"
Love the sections. Especially the crosswords
-- Staff100, 2026-01-14

### ***** "Switched to Paper Format"
I used to hate the new Pro Jo app upgrade till I discovered the e-Newspaper option at the bottom right of the page where I could switch back to the regular paper format.
-- Sklee143, 2026-01-05
