Description

This expansion has been designed for experienced players. For new players, we highly recommend The Quest first.
The Quest Classic - Lost Archipelagos is an expansion to The Quest Classic, a beautifully hand-drawn, immersive and enchanting world full of exciting challenges. After enabling the expansion, you can explore new areas and quests. However, if you don't have The Quest Classic, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.
The story: You have just returned from your long and weary quests, in need of a vacation. But as fear spreads through the land, Mersant sends for the best: you, to solve the mysterious happenings. Your enemy, however, has grown stronger during your absence. He has allied with a powerful magician, who is hell bent on destroying you. As an early fog sets in on your boat, your entire world changes; the waves grow higher and higher, until the whole boat is tossed upon a foreign shore. You are the sole survivor. The land is a savage place, a war always in the works, as the two enemy clans battle it out for control of the islands. You must defeat the enemy wizard, fight savage Lyches, defeat a powerful Phoenix Queen and rescue a warrior from the famed Flying Army. But brute force will not get you very far. In strange lands, strange things happen. And this is the strangest land of them all.
To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Lost Archipelagos" as your travel destination. It is recommended to reach at least level 45 before trying to take on the challenges of this new expansion.
The Quest Classic - Lost Archipelagos has been developed by CivilStriker and was adapted to iPhone by Redshift.

The Quest Classic Reviews

Possibly THE Best Classic RPG on mobile

Having owned this game for years, I’m impressed with how expansive it’s become, and how after so many years it doesn’t get boring—frustrating, most definitely, but not boring. Don’t expect the developers to spoonfeed you clues to complete quests, although they are very helpful on their forums. You can bury yourself in a pile of quests, but if you do, better break out a pad of paper and a pen to jot down where you were, who you talked with, what expansion you were playing, and any clues you got to work through each quest. I personally feel this adds an old school feel to it, because with old games you sometimes had to make your own note book. Love it! Keep up the good work, Devs!

Okay

So I just started playing and I’m confused cause the quests don’t tell you where to go or what to do besides something like kill spirit of dead or some stuff like that

Game seems like an sequel to the early Elder Scrolls but not in a nostalgic way like a copy way with the controls nowhere near suitable for mobile gameplay.

Closest thing to the Elderscrolls arena game. It's fun but really hard. I wouldn't recommend it to people who have never played the quest before. Me personally have never played the actual quest game but I have played the lite version and got a little experience with the game. This game runs really smooth on my Itouch 4g. If you have had experience with the quest, doesn't matter if you played the full quest game or lite it's still challenging. And it's hard to find where to go at the beginning do I will tell you. 1: Go to the mayor and tell him that you're ship crashed. 2: after you talk he should tell you to go to the magic shop owner. 3: go there and she should tell you to go back to the mayors house so you go there and he will give you a key to the old tower. You go there and keep going untill you find a locked door. You use the key to unlock it and bam you should see a portal.

Decent

The game lacks content and combat is quite boring spamming the same two attacks. The levaling system also needs some work kill 300 plus enemys and not even 1/100 of a level. The only entertaining part of this game is the dialog were this a text based game it would be great but as it is, not that bad.

Just like daggerfall
