## The Quint Description
The Quint is a leading Indian digital news platform renowned for its high-quality, award-winning journalism that prioritizes depth, integrity, and impact.

Its journalists have secured prestigious accolades, including multiple Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards, RedInk Awards, WAN-IFRA South Asian Digital Media Awards, INMA Global Media Awards 2025, and recognitions in Human Rights and Religious Freedom Journalism Awards 2025.

This reflects strong journalism quality through rigorous, ground-reported enterprise stories, in-depth investigations, fact-checking via the IFCN-certified WebQoof unit, and multimedia excellence in documentaries, explainers, and visual storytelling.

The Quint emphasizes exclusive coverage via Special Projects — powerful long-form investigations, impactful documentaries (on urban walkability, public transport failures, hate crimes like 'Uncovering Hate', hijab bans, cow vigilantism), and series like 'Caught in the Middle' (middle-class issues), 'Naukri Crisis' and citizen journalism platform 'My Report'.

Exclusive shows and programs include video-heavy originals on YouTube, podcasts like 'The Big Story', and deep dives into social justice, policy, and underreported issues.

To sustain this independent, fearless reporting amid challenges, The Quint focuses on a reader-powered membership model. The Quint's Members gain ad-free access, paywalled premium content, exclusive goodie bags, opinion columns, and priority to unlimited stories, videos, and podcasts.

The Quint has a dedicated community that funds and champions its mission to "question everything" and deliver stories others avoid or miss — earning praise for reliability, depth, and real-world impact in India's evolving media landscape.

## The Quint Reviews in India

### ***-- "Poor design"
I am subscribing to an annual plan of TheQuint but the iPad app is poorly designed. The interface is very plain. Also even though I have an active subscription the app does not have an option to log into my account to avail my subscription benefits. Please improve on these.
-- psomdeb25, 2022-01-03

### *---- "Worst"
Ninnu a cheppu tho kottina thappu ledu 😡😡
-- aravind277, 2021-08-10

### ***-- "Glitch"
Webqoof and Opinion not showing any articles. Please look into this.
-- Ni9in, 2021-05-07

### ***** "Ads"
The ads are really bugging. The smoothness to the app can improve !
-- Mohakmohta, 2020-04-14

### *---- "Worst app"
One of d worst app ever where they only target once community and propagate terrorist and anti social elements as innocent and shows Hindu cultures as terrorism. They’re not even worth of single star
-- Lakshmisha Venugopal, 2020-03-11

### *---- "Biased news only"
Biased news only
-- sunny0017, 2020-02-29

### *---- "Nearly impossible to share anything from the app"
This app doesn’t connect with other apps. So you can’t send it to most apps. If you click on Facebook icon, it opens an in-app browser and you lose interest in sharing it. Apps are supposed to make it easy to interact, not difficult. I can much more easily open the same article and do whatever I want with it. It’s also very difficult to copy any sentence from the news piece. You never know what you are copying.
-- auspous, 2020-01-29

### ***** "Only True And Confirmed News"
Excellent Work
-- Afjjahhag, 2019-10-27

### ***** "Language options"
I would love to read Quint News in Kannada. Consider starting South Indian language editions of Quint.
-- ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್, 2019-08-23

### **--- "Raghav Bhel promotion platform"
The Quont stands for anti BJP propaganda machine. Everyday we HAVE to see the promoters face with him ranting on his issues with judiciary and government. He should know that no one cares about him or his issues.
