So, someone decided to rewrite code. Looks like they weren’t smart enough to program the “ADD TO CONTACTS” routine that has been a function in the app for years, so they simply removed the code. Even too lazy to remove the GO button. I guess Thryv doesn’t care about the people who use their app.

They claim to be a free advertisement platform yet want to charge around $300/mo to boost your advertisement. How do they expect start up businesses to fork out that kind of money with no guaranteed return on investment? Such a joke!

I used YP for several years, but in more recent years, the prices of gas being posted are anywhere from one to four weeks old!  That does not help at all!

I don’t understand why this developer “refuses” to protect consumers’ eyes by creating an optional dark mode for their app, no matter how many times users of this app, has request it.

You do realize, people will use this app “at night” in a dark room or car, and the app is too bright?

Stupidest decision EVER to discontinue the favorites list!!! Apparently I have now lost the businesses I had saved to my favorites list which is nothing short of a travesty for me, especially 2 locations that I always have trouble finding! Do NOT bother downloading this app!…find a better one!

Still easy to run as had for awhile. Unfortunately as you run a search it crashes. Don’t know if it’s a bug in the search engine. I will keep up with google till this gets fixed.

Update: March 2024 - worse than ever.  Now says it can’t find my business.  I’m not even searchable.  We have been in business since 1972 and only close 1 day a year.  Tons of customers.   And yet, yellow pages says we don’t exist.  What a pile of absolute rubbish this app is.  

Update March 2021 - still no response from YP. It continues to list the wrong info and the wrong hours of operation. I wish this company would disappear, rather than continue to post bad business info. YP? More like F.U. Update Sept 2020 - still no response from YP. IT CONTINUES TO SAY MY BUSINESS IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. Hot garbage if an app. “Changes will be reviewed in a few days”. lol. This company is a total joke. —- 2 years. That’s how long I’ve been trying to update the hours to my business. No “contact us” feature provided by YP. It consistently says my business is closed when I’m open. It’s costs me customers. I can edit the hours and submit “for review” but nobody ever makes changes and it’s the same old story. FOR TWO YEARS! What else can I do YP?

I was going to start using this app, but read their privacy terms. They provide phone numbers then they TRACK YOUR INTERACTION WITH THE VENDOR!!!! Not how many times you contact vendors, which I might understand for their services, but what you buy! The Yellow Pages does NOT need to know what I buy, or what I say to anyone. Read the fine print. Horrible app.

The yellow pages app is a complete mess. Nothing functions properly – duplicate listings, non-existent businesses, and zero verification. The edit buttons are just for show, adding to the frustration. A waste of time and effort.

The Yellow Pages app hasn’t worked on my Apple devices for awhile now. When you get to the listing you are looking for and press whichever information you want to look at( ie, phone number or website, you either can’t open it or you get an error message. I had to get a real yellow pages book to use because this app is TRASH!
