The Rouge is your comprehensive guide to Rouge National Urban Park. Explore the park’s rich natural, cultural, and agricultural heritage through the detailed map and guide. Turn on the app’s Rouge Tracking feature to receive GPS-triggered notifications in real-time as you explore the park. 

- View trails and points of interest on the interactive park map 
- Activate Rouge Tracking to turn your phone into a GPS-based virtual 
tour guide. Receive real-time notifications as you explore the park 
- Browse through the guide to plan your visit to the park and learn more about specific topics, including park activities, trails, nature, agriculture, history, and more
- Save your favourite content pages and points of interest for future reference  
- Earn badges for hiking and discovering points of interest using Rouge Tracking 
- Report wildlife sightings, trail conditions, and more directly to Parks Canada 
- Receive notifications for park news and special events 
- Learn about park wildlife and test your memory with a fun matching game

First time went to park and this app did not download any data on mobile data (which I have); so guide was blank and map didn’t show any trails. Second time I downloaded on wifi but still map doesn’t show any markers and the guide is blank (just blank page)!! Useless in my case.

Used the app today and it was hopeless. The trail I took isn’t even on the app’s map. Don't waste your bandwidth on this. Just go to The Rouge’s website. (I had to give 1 star b/c 0 stars isn’t an option.)

The Rouge app is such an amazing app for Canada’s first national urban park. It is honestly the perfect hiking companion because it shows me where the trails are and where I am in the Rouge. The info notifications are a cool feature too!
