The clue they give you is usually to tell you to do something. They assume you’ve already found not knowing if you’ve actually found it. -- Stand-up, 2025-07-11 ### ***** "Im not a puzzle genius and this is perfect" Hard enough to make me think and work out things but not so hard that I have to constantly get hints. All of the Midnight games are really good, well made and fun. Because I get to actually play. I like the hints system because I get lost as to where to go next. The hints telling you to go to a scene are just right for helping me know there’s something can do there. Then, I solve the actual puzzle myself. -- Generic230, 2023-04-15 ### ***-- "Ok but not great...." I've played several games from this company... My top favorites are Long Journey and Haunted Hollow 2. The atmosphere of the above mentioned, made them worth every bit of money/time spent with them. This game is more like a mix between the "magic school bus" and "homescapes"... I mean I don't want to offend anyone but yes, that's the feeling. There was a part I found quite irritating... The leaves. Yes... Those you have to use the rake on? The wrench is visible, but you can't point at it... no game comment. The pile of leaves - pointing at them would take me to the previous scene. Yet when I was "stuck" I was told to rake "the piles of leaves" with the rake. I thought "the piles of leaves that take me to the previous scene when I press on them?"... Yes, but... The wrench is not even necessary to finish the game... Way to go, it's an "Easter Egg"... If you guys meant it as an Easter Egg, you shouldn't give it away as a clue. Really. I found strange things like that in most of the games that didn't seem to have an explanation... But whatever... If the clue wasn't given by the hint system, I would've finished the game with an extra rake in my inventory (and I would've looked for a use for it myself thank you)! Now time to find what that wrench is for 🤔 -- Liliana, 2019-08-05 ### ***-- "The End Clock Setting???" Not sure I agree with the logic behind clock puzzle at the end. Other than that this game was fun. Some suggestions... Going forward, how about not automatically adding the clues into the book? I mean, what’s the point of a clue if you tell the user it’s a clue? Should be more subtle. Look at Facility 47. When comparing this game to others like the Glitch Games’ escape games, it seems very one-dimensional. There isn’t much layering of clues and puzzles. Anyway- keep making them, I will still play! -- Blichty, 2019-06-01 ### ***** "Best game" It is the best game I know with adventure and discovers. It has a lot of locations and cool gameplay -- kvbnga2, 2019-05-25 ### ***** "I loved it" I don’t regret of purchasing this game. It brought me tons of fun without being too complicated. Thank you developers for making this -- Cary Starr, 2019-05-24 ### ****- "Nice puzzle game" This game is pretty attractive and i guess i spend too much time playing it! :) This is interesting to solve riddles, mysteries and puzzles, it gives! It have it’s own style, i think it makes this game unique and different from tons of other puzzle game. To my opinion, gameplay is really good, and quests, which given, sometimes very challenging, that’s why, i guess, I will never get bored from spending couple of hours playing this game! -- Oliver1408, 2019-05-23 ### ***** "Mystery" The significant amount of puzzles, mini-games, and locations persuade me that I have been right to choose this very game and buy the full version! I like that compared to other similar games, this one is pretty long and very exciting. Music is very relaxing but the plot is breathtaking at the same time. I have found that it is even possible to get some clues, but I like to find the clue on my own because I see it as the reason to play it. -- alexmatskii, 2019-05-22 ### ****- "Exciting game" This is very interesting adventure game that involves solving various puzzles and misterious secrets. I enjoy playing such games because at the same time this is good training for my brains. -- Luckykiss89, 2019-05-21 ### ***** "Impressive game" The more you play more absorbing it is getting. Love the way it looks. Already recommended it to all of my friends and we play together. -- Xenches, 2019-05-21 [View all The Secret on Sycamore Hill ~ reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to The Secret on Sycamore Hill ~ - [The Lost Treasure](https://apptail.io/app/the-lost-treasure-sAh/united-states) - [Escape From Crimson Manor Ep.2](https://apptail.io/app/escape-from-crimson-manor-ep2-sjZb/united-states) - [The Secret of Crimson Manor](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-of-crimson-manor-zBwc/united-states) - [Meridian 157: Chapter 3](https://apptail.io/app/meridian-157-chapter-3-MuFc/united-states) - [Curse of the Cobra](https://apptail.io/app/curse-of-the-cobra-nSPc/united-states) - [Blackthorn Castle 2](https://apptail.io/app/blackthorn-castle-2-kgFd/united-states) - [Rescue the Enchanter](https://apptail.io/app/rescue-the-enchanter-Ijxe/united-states) - [The Lost City](https://apptail.io/app/the-lost-city-sLFg/united-states) - [The Wild Case](https://apptail.io/app/the-wild-case-JrKj/united-states) - [Legacy 4 - Tomb of Secrets](https://apptail.io/app/legacy-4-tomb-of-secrets-nuRl/united-states) ## The Secret on Sycamore Hill ~ Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/united-states) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/japan) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/netherlands) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/canada) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/spain) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/finland) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/france) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/greece) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/italy) - [Cayman Islands](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/cayman-islands) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/madagascar) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/mexico) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/nigeria) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/philippines) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/poland) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/saudi-arabia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/sweden) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/singapore) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/slovakia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/turkey) - [Uganda](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/uganda) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/united-arab-emirates) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/vietnam) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/azerbaijan) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/brazil) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/the-secret-on-sycamore-hill-ZPsd/germany) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
