Description

The Surfr. App is a performance tracking app for Kite boarders. With the app kite boarders can record, view and share their performance:
- Jumps (height, airtime, distance)
- Speed

In addition to these 'game' features the app also contains a safety features in order to keep kite boarders as safe as possible such as the possibility to trace back the board when GPS location is shared.

Also the app is able to track the path the user has surfed over water. This path/track can optionally be stored as well.

The Surfr. App is meant to be used with a board mount in order to mount a phone to a kite board.

Kitesurfers Dream

I jumped on the hype of using a woo to track my jumps a few years back. Did not really like the experience and was more frustrated than happy back then. surfr was great fun from the early days and since the update of the algorithm using AI now the tracking is even more accurate. Definitely recommended!!

Bisher uneingeschränkt happy

Nutze die Surfr App mit meinem Handy beim kiten. Es motiviert mich immer mir nach einer Session die Sprünge anzuschauen und auszuwerten. Coole Funktionen und gut programmierte App. Love it.

Nette App… aber nur eingeschränkt nutzbar!

Eigentlich eine echt coole App leider klappt bei mir das Sprungtracking mit der Apple Watch Ultra gar nicht… trotz mehrfacher Kalibrierung und neu installation. Gibt es die Probleme auch bei anderen ?

Ich kann den Pro Account nicht erneuern! Wenn ja wo? Hat die Testversion jetzt kann ich kein Abo aktivieren.

Filter is not working as expected

E.g. I filter by “Female” and now I see male and female together, but the position I think it’s updated. 😅 It used to work before. But now it’s not working. Maybe the getAllFemale backend call is not working. 🥹

Nur ein kleines Mancko

Ich finde die App klasse. Sie ist präzise und einfach in der Anwendung. Warum ich ein Stern abgezogen habe…? Ich würde mir wünschen, wenn es diese App auch in Deutsch geben würde. Vielleicht bekommt ihr es ja noch hin.

I had a problem due to a bug and the Support contact

I had a problem due to a bug and the Support contacted me promptly and with a solution on the same day. However I must say.. even with the new Ai the phone seems to miss a lot of jumps. This applies especially to FLYSURFER foil kites where the lift is not as abrupt as on tube kites and the Hangtime much longer. Before the AI update the app was missing almost no jumps. I hope the AI training will improve over time and also receive a 2nd alignment path that is properly tailored to foil-kites.

The best app out there

The algorithm is absolutely amazing and accurate. Never misses a jump! Support is super fast and responsive. I’ve been with WOO for years but once I tested the Surfr I immediately changed. So much better and definitely the future instead of buying a expensive, always breaking device! Great job Surfr.!
