## The Swindon Advertiser Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Very disappointed"
Slow and sluggish on the odd occasion but the past 2weeks it’s been totally unresponsive- subscription now cancelled.
-- Kazzy63, 2024-06-06

### *---- "1 star"
Love to read what’s happening in my local paper, which I am subscribed to. But…. On so many occasions I will want to read a breaking story, which whilst I am trying to read it, it will go back to the previous screen. Meaning I cannot read breaking stories through this app!!! I have to try to find them online. It is very very annoying when you pay to get these stories so you know what’s going on, but you cannot access them on the app. Please please try to fix whatever ‘bug’ this is.
-- **##rach**##, 2023-08-15

### *---- "Ripping customers off!"
I have bought 3 months of subscription and I cannot fully access the app. I have been asking SWINDON ADVERTISER for help but I have got absolutely no where! I have asked for a refund but because of their faulty app they say they have no record of my purchase even though I have clearly shown them the evidence!
APPALLING TREATMENT FROM THEM TO A PAYING CUSTOMER.
DO NOT BUY, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
-- virginnotworking, 2021-12-14

### *---- "Shameful"
What load of trash… typical Swindon can’t get a decent job done.. been reading online for couple of years had its problems. Now just took 3 months subscription and then shut me out can’t even download the app… it’s a mess just like it’s town centre!,,,,,,
-- feel-letdown, 2021-11-22

### *---- "Rubbish"
I subscribe to support local journalism. However, this app loads erratically and tells me I am unsubscribed when I demonstrably am. Really not good enough and makes me feel a fool for supporting local media - which is not a good way to make your customers feel. Will be unsubscribing. I have paid for three months and am owed a month and a half subscription back. Do not waste your time with it - customers seem to be treated as mugs.
-- dissenting voice, 2021-06-14

### *---- "Can’t open"
Please sort it. Second day and the app won’t open even after several attempts.
-- congratulations1, 2020-12-23

### ***-- "No copy"
Friday 17 July only 4 pages !!!!
-- Juner2, 2020-07-17

### *---- "Confused !"
What on Earth is going on?!!!
I had a perfectly good and readable app and then it changes to something I can’t understand and asking me to pay for a subscription?
It’s an absolutely disaster and I can’t work it!
-- Katie confused!!, 2019-12-15

### *---- "CRASH CRASH CRASH"
Still taking 4 goes to open. Absolutely hopeless. Have to remove and reinstall over and over.
-- IdealFilms, 2019-11-21

### *---- "Cannot open"
For three days now I have been unable to open this app. You are taking my subscription for a service you are not providing. Sort it or lose another reader
