The Telegraph Reviews

Incredibly annoying ads

black&whitecow on

Australia

Don’t bother with the app if you’re using an iPad. The adverts take over the screen and make it impossible to read the articles.

Adverts

DCb30a on

Australia

This app is ridiculous you pay a monthly fee and cant read the articles due to adverts all over the screen. 1 more week of this and I will cancel the subscription

An Australian view

Forgewood on

Australia

Excellent summary of UK and world news. Keeps me up to date with important events, and the occasional obituary, although the WW2 generation are almost gone. Quicker to report on US events than the WSJ or Washington Post.

Impossible to unsubscribe

Not Goodbye on

Australia

Do not sign up for this because they make it impossible to unsubscribe, all of their directions lead to dead ends.

Recent addition of large adverts have ruined the App

Wellbad1 on

Australia

I’d seriously reconsider a subscription after the recent full screen adverts that have been inserted into the app. ‘Impressive’ and hopefully they are getting a packet from advertisers to offset drop in subscribers

Not a great app or subscription

philipr19 on

Australia

Even with a subscription the app is full of advertisements.

Massive ad that follows above and beneath the text cuts off chunks of the articles

grantc1 on

Australia

As mentioned in the title, there’s a massive ad that follows above and beneath the text as you scroll down and cuts off chunks of every article. You can literally see half of a sentence cutoff horizontally through the middle of the letters. At one point I scrolled down and half an article disappeared and the advertising was staring me in the face.

Well written and varied

SR123456789SR123446789 on

Australia

I enjoy the variety of articles and the are well written.

Disappointing ideaological slant

Gmx12que7 on

Australia

Why cant the telegraph present news without all the ideological drivel its opinion pieces contain. And if you must have all the ideological drivel on the site maybe put it lower down so we can see the actual news up top without having to scroll past the ramblings of your weird opinion writers

Poor text size control

Malemariner on

Australia

Unable to increase the text size in the mobile app so unable to read stories. Text size only increases the written text in the downloaded newspaper. Look elsewhere if you cannot read small text on your phone. It might’ve have worked as you can zoom in with your fingers but really need that to work in landscape mode, which it doesn’t, as in portrait mode you get to only see ⅓ rd of the page and is awkward.
