The iPhone App is working smoothly with prompt notification and easy reading of digital articles. I have purchased its subscription which covers ToI, Economic Times, Market. Though, ET and other apps are working just fine, however, there is no iPad version of the ToI Application. The ToI - ePaper app is available but the reading is not so user friendly, it is full of glitches. The e-Paper interface in all the Apps of the Group requires drastic improvements.

I have issues focusing on text and often use text to speech button to read article for me. I think Times of India needs to integrate new AI agents which are better at reading articles. This is a very badly optimised app. It does NOT stay in the background. If you read an article and then hop onto the main screen to check something, when you reopen this app even if it’s two seconds later- it reloads. The full app just reloads.

Terrible optimisation.

Update: So they are too busy shoving ads and massive banners to hamper your experience, that they forgot they are a news platform.

For example if you’d go to the rest of the world section in world news category, it’s filled to the brim with sports news from India that nobody cares about, lets alone read. 

It’s a world news section. It needs to be about to that specific side of news. Not SPORTS. You already have a sports section!
