The Times (ROW Legacy) Reviews
Repeatedly logged out for no obvious reason
With the technology available these days it must be possible to trigger an alert to let you know that a subscriber is having problems either logging in or being thrown out after reading a single article. 9 or 10 times before the login is accepted and then as soon as you have read the article you have to login again. There’s no way of checking the account subscription other than the last payment was taken as usual last month on the 30th and no emails to advise me of any problems. The App and functions have been fine up until now and the reporting and content is good.
Unstable app
App closes by itself when I try to open it. Unable to use the app. And I’m paying for this. Please resolve or I will cancel my subscription

Loving The Times app
Have had this a mobile app for a week now - how did I survive before? Instant accessibility to some of the best UK journalism keeping me constantly up to date with UK and World news not withstanding the fact that it’s so easy to navigate. Thanks.
Great app and great newspaper
I use it everyday and I love it. I recommend it.
Sin acceso
Menuda app... Te pide id y password nada más abrirla, sin darte la opción de registrarte. De ahí no pasas! No pienso molestarme en entrar en la página del times a registrarme. Borrada!
Horrible app
I have never been able to view comments on the app. It’s pathetic. My app version is the live version, not classic, and I’m using the latest iOS version. This should have been fixed years ago. There have been comments on Reddit and the Apple App Store for years yet the ToL refuses to fix the problems. I’ve cancelled my subscription because of it. Why should I pay for an app I can’t fully use?
Needs audio
The writing is excellent but the app is not accessible. It needs to have AI generated audio for every article similar to WSJ and Washington Post so that the app is accessible for those with disabilities. There is no good reason not to make this necessary upgrade so the news is accessible to all.
Not on comment on the journalistic quality
Perhaps the worst functioning app I have ever used. Constant requests for log ins. Once I log in there is an endless loading loop. I canceled my subscription even though I enjoy the news coverage and writing.
Extremely buggy app
Can’t subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) newsletters, registration appears to fail (but actually doesn’t), support chat doesn’t work… not a great experience for a new subscriber.
Excellent journalism, lacking app.
Ability to read up on British news whilst living in the US (I’m British) from a reputable and mostly impartial source is a god send, not to mention coverage of sports and motoring news and opinion. I just wish I got notifications for news stories (all notifications are on for it but I don’t get any…)
Solid 4/5✨
