It really has some potential, but it is too repetitve for me and I am not willing to grind over and over just to be able to push through the boss. Perhaps I am more of a casual player... Also, ads that want me to "play" the ad are probably the worst kind out there.
The game starts of strong, fast game loop, pushing through levels. Then you find a good formula and reach lvls around 50-70 and get stuck there. Farming coins at that point starts get tedious. Each game takes 30-60 minutes of waiting to get enough to upgrade your tower, upgrade, repeat. You can’t walk away, otherwise you die (not an idle game experience), nor you can’t “improve” your gameplay, skills, to earn more (active gaming). So yeah, at some point you’re thinking, do I want to spend my time grinding? Maybe some rebalance of tiers could help this, or perhaps adding sooner cap on tiers. I once reached lvl 909 and thought, wow, I got so far, it took 1+ hour, oh wait, the tier goes to 4500. Still, I enjoyed the game much more than anything else you see in advertising.
Game is great and fun … for first 30-40 min. Then it is about hardcore grind. It looks great and i would love to play more but progres is soooooooo slow. Its to the point where you have to play 10 games where you can get to level 30 just to move little bit foward. If the game wasnt extremly slow then I woudnt have quit playing it like this.
So far i’m enjoying this game, it has very good potential. However progressing is very slow and time consuming. Looking forward to more updates.
Hardcore coins
I downloaded this app a few days ago and still have more to explore, for sure, but overall, it's left a good first impression on me. I have two main complaints. One, is that it's a little disheartening buying upgrade after upgrade only to be stuck at the same exact wave for quite some time. I'd really like to access that tournament mode in the app, but at the rate I'm going it feels impossible to ever reach it. In my opinion, I feel like there needs to be more balance in challenging the player while also allowing them to advance forward at a steady pace. It'd definitely lead to less people getting frustrated/bored and abandoning the app. I also consistently encounter a bug upon opening the app where I'm loaded into a perpetual black screen after the TechTree logo. Then, I have to go through some roundabout way like restarting my phone, or deleting and reinstalling the app, to get it to work properly. It's a bit frustrating, since I genuinely enjoy the game, and this has made me quite literally unable to play it more than a few times. Aside from that, though, I like the game's ideas, variety, simple and efficient visuals, and the different ways to upgrade your tower defenses. It definitely has a lot of potential, and I really want to see what future updates bring, as well as how carefully and thoroughly the devs are listening to player critiques. Keep up the good work! This game is a 10/10 but there just one issue, starting progress for me was quite slow and made me lose interest for a little while so what im saying is that you (the devs) may need to speed it up somehow because it may fully make people lose interest but it is a great game though
Had it for two days now and starting to actually get somewhere and now it loads the tech tree logo and then just a gray screen kinda blows cause i like tower defense games:/
