## The Wichita Eagle Reviews in United States

### ****- "Why I didn’t give it 5 stars"
Too many grammar, spelling mistakes. When I open the paper, I don’t want to see a cockroach.
-- Newspaper devotee, 2026-06-26

### *---- "app continues to be terrible"
This may be what finally makes me drop my subscription. Unreadable. Update June 5: still awful. Won’t let me login in to read content.
Update 10/3: same old same old. I have a digital subscription, won’t let me sign in. You have to be trying to be this bad.
-- JustAGuy555, 2024-10-03

### *---- "Most useless newspaper app"
Again I have a paid subscription and I get blocked from reading articles. I have four other online newspapers I read and I am able to actually read the articles. This is a totally inadequate online digital newspaper. If I didn’t want a local news source I would just forget it. But with its present digital failures it is unreadable.
-- Jerkkkh, 2024-07-25

### ****- "E Edition Gone"
The new Edition has buried a pdf version of a print layout but without the ability to open a complete article with a tap.

After a week or so the Ap has been updated and the digital print layout version returned. Thank you!
-- Kestrel22!, 2024-05-11

### *---- "Obituary NOT AVAILABLE ON IPAD"
the latest e paper will not show obituaries. I have the most updated app. This is ridiculous and really alienates loyal readers.
-- Poor technical update, 2024-05-07

### *---- "Horrible"
Recent changes are horrible. I simply want a digital version of a newspaper (that looks like a newspaper) and not a web app simply pointing to articles. This is not worth the subscription.
-- Davenict, 2024-05-04

### *---- "Can’t access anything but sports"
No access to any local news or comics. I selected categories and they were not accessible… the various topics across the top of the page on my wife’s iPad were all there, but mine only showed sports.
-- VietVetFromOz, 2024-05-01

### *---- "New format is totally worthless"
Today, May 1, 2024, the new “interactive” Eagle started. No news, just total frustration. I can’t find today’s print edition on my iPad. I’ve emailed the powers that be ( page 2 of yesterday’s readable version) as I learned long ago that the “customer service” (disservice) was useless. And they wonder why people are canceling.
-- Mags Mom II, 2024-05-01

### *---- "Won’t open"
Issue with app not opening. Either white screen or wichita eagle open screen, but that’s it. Sometimes turning off phone resets but today no. Usually have to get to newest Eedition from link in email, not app. It’s stuck on yesterday’s edition.
-- ictlineman, 2024-01-15

### *---- "Useless"
This is a free app but absolutely useless! Every article requires a subscription, so whats the point of a free app? All you get is the headline and to read on must subscribe!
-- App stinks!!, 2023-08-29
