No comparison with telegraph. Notice no subs for print only. Obvious why. -- Driff tyke, 2024-12-17 ### *---- "Poor" Lack of Football results and reports in the next days edition -- ggggggggggggggggggggggggggrace, 2024-01-20 ### ***** "A great paper" So glad I moved to Yorkshire - not least because I can now read the YP! A great paper in every way. Really helped me to feel part of this great county. -- VikkiLW, 2022-11-06 ### *---- "Unable to open puzzles" Very poor app. I have downloaded this to my iPad from the App Store but am unable to open puzzles and there are issues dating back to last Feb still on. In a word it’s crap. I had it on my iPad using the m/soft edge browser and it worked Ok. Come on YP, get your finger out and fix it. -- maltbycol, 2022-06-06 ### ***** "Totally over complicated" The original app was simple and logical. This version is totally over complicated. I hate the two page presentation and I hate the supplements shown separately. The only improvement is the todays news section which loads quicker and is better laid out but perhaps we could actually have todays news rather than a rehash of the main edition? -- Rj258, 2022-03-19 ### ****- "Basic but reliable newspaper app" I didn’t expect anything fancy from this app - it does extra what it says. I find it easy to navigate on my iPad*. The only comparison I have is the Guardian which, to my mind, has gone too far in the other direction and is a proper pain to read. The content of the YP doesn’t change and is hardly representative of the majority of Yorkshire folk. I don’t agree with much of the content of editorial comments or opinion pieces but there is a consistency to the reporting and I can work with that. * a simple but useful improvement might be to have the options to (a) have new editions downloaded automatically and (b) editions that have been read to de deleted automatically. -- paulgarb, 2022-01-04 ### ***-- "OK app, but could be much better" I like to read the YP every day, but I don’t much like using this app. The main section hasn’t been adapted to a tablet format, need to scroll and zoom to read. Would also appreciate being able to complete crosswords on the app. Why does it require you to login every couple of weeks? Developer could learn a lot from The Times/Sunday Times app, which is much more user friendly. -- Carl Sberglager, 2021-03-26 ### ***** "DigitalYP." Excellent and easy to use. Real pity the crosswords aren’t interactive! -- Beal Birder, 2021-01-23 ### ***** "Lovely to read and support a local paper" I am so pleased to be able to buy an electronic version of my favourite local paper and be able to support its existence in such a way. Some subscribers complain about not being able to click on articles to expand them: I actually love the way this electronic version feels. Flicking through the pages is like flicking through the paper - I feel like I’m turning the pages. It’s reliable and quick. Thank you Yorkshire Post. -- Funkyrabbit1, 2020-09-23 ### ***** "Love it in print and app" Really impressed with the app, easy to use and very good value! -- A R Mason Esquire, 2020-09-15 [View all The Yorkshire Post Newspaper reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## The Yorkshire Post Newspaper In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | The Yorkshire Post | £12.99 | | YP Monthly Subscription | £12.99 | ## The Yorkshire Post Newspaper Discovered Keywords -
