### ****- "App has a lot of potential"
Used the 3 day free trail and made sure I explored and tried every feature. At the beginning it interviews you on your skin type and skin goals, you’re able to choose multiple (three in total) some examples being Redness,Enlarged pores and Oiliness. From there it asks for pictures of your face from different angles in good lighting and a list products you use in the skincare routine you can search yourself or take pictures of your products and they find it for you. Unfortunately they couldn’t find my correct cleanser ether way, just the same brand. They did find everything else in my routine correctly though and classify them accordingly. I do have a toner that also acts as a chemical exfoliant that they put under exfoliants, leaving the toner sublist blank. 

From this it gives you two scores out of 100, one for how “good” your skin looks and one for how good your skin routine is for your goals. It does give a disclaimer that how “good” your skin is is subjective which I appreciate. It’ll tell you whether the product is a good match because of certain ingredients that help your goals. 

If you have a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen your score is 80. It suggests to add a toner and serum to improve score but adding doesn’t get you to 100. It doesn’t show how to improve your score from there or which cleansers, moisturizers or other products would be better than what you already have. It does give you suggestions per category, adding all the options however doesn’t give you a score of 100, 89 at most (for me at least). 

You can update your photos of your face and it does increase your score. There’s five categories of criteria. Complexion, Acne and Texture, Barrier and Hydration, Fine lines and wrinkles and Eye bags dark circles. I’ve took 6 pictures “check ups” in the last 2 days and at least one of the categories increase every time (same lighting and pose). I don’t know if it’s accurate or if it’s just to give us hope that are skins getting better. 

This app does use A.I. specifically in its chat. You ask it a sentence like “ What are peptides” or “What products are best for me. It doesn’t continue a conversation, it gives you its answer no clarification if asked. If you ask for dupes on a product, asking for additional dupes doesn’t get you any other dupes just the same suggestions. It doesn’t find products that meet the exact qualifications in the prompt and some questions when hit enter don’t even go through. Asking to find med spa just leads you

### ***** "My fave skincare app!!!"
I never leave reviews but I had to this time because this app is changing the game when it comes to building the perfect personalized skin care regimen. As a skincare junkie, I find this app encompasses everything I need to choose the best products with ingredients well-suited for my skin (even make up products which is a plus!!!) I’m constantly researching products/ingredient to ensure I’m not using anything that will worsen my acne. This app has helped improve my acne and keeps me accountable. The daily check-ins help me track my skin’s progress which is truly satisfying to see how much my skin’s improved. 

Above all, I love the AI feature that allows you to ask literally anything when it comes to your skin care concerns. It’s like having a personal dermatologist/aesthetician in the palm of your hands!

### ***** "Motivation I needed"
My skin has always been pretty good, no major issues, but I’ve had persistent dryness and redness that was lingering. 

When I heard about Thea, it seemed like an efficient way to address my lingering concerns. 

They took a photo of my face, asked some questions, and then gave me the exact routine I needed: using some of what I had already, adding a few new things, and suggesting replacements for other steps in my routine. 

I often assume price and quality are linked, but Thea has recommended a bunch of affordable products that work amazingly well. I would have never ordered those online if it weren’t for Thea. 

My skin has improved significantly. It’s amazing to see Thea’s progress tracking.
