This adaptive algorithmic design ensures that low-risk patients can complete their assessment in under six minutes, while high-risk patients receive the deeper, clinically relevant screening they require. Doctors do not need to be Theatre Hub subscribers to use the platform; it is freely accessible across the South African healthcare community for use in both private and government healthcare contexts. Patients can choose between: QuickPAQ — a fast, streamlined assessment ideal for emergency cases FullPAQ — a more comprehensive offering provided when a patient registers on the system. This adds demographic and medical aid data capture, blood test/CXR/ECG upload options, Workman’s Compensation document storage, and a personalised online consent form. The result: less paperwork at the hospital, improved communication between patients and clinicians, and earlier identification of red flags.
