Comments section should be removed

scsa_ on

The comments section is a cesspool of extremist views, but muting commenters is broken, reporting certain comments is broken and the account support function to report those issues is also broken!

Don’t use it much as comment section off.

Killare on

Don’t use it much as comment section usually turned off. I get the news on other social media outlets.

Dark mode is half baked

hairy_back on

“Getting local notices” never finishes loading. Have to pull down to refresh to clear it. Is any QA performed using dark mode? Lots of text is still formatted in a dark colour in dark mode, making it almost impossible to read, e.g. the link to expand comments in a thread and app settings. Giant white bar for some reason at the end of an article before comments as well. A recent regression

Aghayeevoge on

I complain when commentators correlate crime with council housing. I complained yesterday or the day before after reading about the attack on the American tourist in Talbot St. I’ve had no acknowledgement although I thought a comment I teferred to was incitement to hatred — or something like that. In my own plain language, I considered the comment offensive and ignorant. You should remove such comments.

Toxic comments section

Snapper5834 on

Deleting the app because of the level of trolling and abuse in the comments section

Good information for the public.
