FOR TEACHERS:

Theta Music Trainer is ideal for use in the music classroom or studio.

Here are some of the ways teachers around the world are using Theta Music Trainer:

- Introduce new concepts through games
One of the great things about games is that they provide immediate feedback in real time. Students are often quicker to grasp new music theory concepts when they are presented in a game format.

- Use games in place of drills
Rather than giving your students tedious drills, you can use games to reinforce key concepts taught in class. The necessary repetition becomes much more palatable to students in a game environment.

- Assign games for homework
Not only will your students love this, but you can get true assessments of each student's ability in a wide range of areas including scales, rhythms, chords, tuning and more - without spending a huge amount of time grading.

- Hold classroom competitions
Choose a game for your desired area for practice and see who can complete the most levels. Students can compete individually or in teams. You can even have classrooms compete against one another.

Teaching aural skills and music theory can be tough. Many students have a hard time grasping the basic concepts and struggle with the repetition needed for mastery. Games inject an element of variety and fun into the development of basic music skills. Students become inspired, motivated and engaged in music learning. Have fun and save time as your students develop core music skills in an engaging and effective way.

## Theta Music Trainer Reviews in United States

### *---- "Cannot use it"
When I try to create an account, I am greeted with a message stating that email is already in use. There is no saved password for this in my iCloud. There is no provision to reset the password or contact anyone for help. I have never received any emails related to this app so I don’t understand what is happening! There is literally no available way to fix the issue! This app is useless to me if I cannot use my email.
-- Solarborn, 2024-04-12

### ****- "Subscription"
I wish you offered an annual subscription option. I hate monthly payments.
-- CaraXCara, 2024-01-04

### ***** "Best Music Training App"
Hands down the best app for training. The games are like video games for music theory.
-- FauxbourdonSwing, 2022-04-12

### ****- "Great music app. Video intro needed for each game."
It’s the best music program app I could find. Could you add a short video trailer showing how to play the games for each game? My 7-year-old got frustrated when he did not know what he was supposed to do.
-- minnie348, 2020-05-03

### ***-- "App Stuck"
When I resume the first scales course I just get a blank screen and nothing loads. Can’t progress.
-- Cwtech, 2020-02-17

### ***-- "Great Idea!!"
The idea behind the app is excellent!! The games are a fun and effective way of truly training your ear. The only down fall of the app is all of the crashes!! Please CrowdFund this app, gain investors, do something so you’ll be able to make the app better and even your website!!
-- Toryj98, 2019-10-29

### *---- "Trash"
This app is bot level bad
It is horrible don’t download it it is not worth it
If you want to shot it multiple times then go ahead and download it do it you won’t
Or else
-- name my nick, 2019-03-28

### *---- "Way too expensive for a limited use"
Iv paid for the app before but the sudden skyrocketed price is seriously unreasonable. Tenuto is a much better alternative considering how overpriced this is.
-- Sangablue, 2017-11-18

### ***** "Amazing"
This app is amazing. Not see why it’s not more popular or heavily reviewed, but it’s a great free way to practice your ear training in a fun way.
-- RINGEE5673, 2017-11-12

### ***** "Great App!"
If you’re a music teacher, be it private or public, you can also setup a ‘class’ on their website that your students can log into so you can observe their progress outside of lessons. :) The visuals should help with keeping the attention of younger students well, too! It won’t teach the fundamentals of part-writing, no- but nonetheless there is a LOT of material that this app/website covers, with difficulty levels that start with the first-timer and over the course of 30 levels gradually move all the way up through advanced and on to professional (if not then some)!
