## Theta Waves (Legacy) Description
What are Theta Waves, and how can they help you?

They are high amplitude but slow cycled brain waves that are associated with a state of deep meditation and mindfulness. They are extremely slow, and cycle about 4-7 times per second.

Theta Waves is an app that allows you to recreate that sound, helping you meditate deeply. Theta Waves can emitts a waveform at 6 Hz: start the frequency and adjust it to your liking by moving your finger across the slider placed on the sound-wave at the center of the screen. You can start the wave emission by pressing the Theta button on the top left before starting your meditation session; you will notice a significant change in the quality of your meditation while you use it. We strongly suggest the use of headphones or quality speakers while using it.

To help you meditate even better, we added several in-App functions. You can choose to add 7 different songs and 5 sounds of nature to the Theta Wave to relax and become even more mindful. The built in timer allows you to set how much the app will play. Finally, you can change the background color through your settings: choose among 5 relaxing Theta Wave inspired tones. By purchasing the full version of the app, you can unlock and enjoy all of these functions and improve your experience.

We put a lot of thought and passion in creating this app, and we hope that by using it many people will discover the power of brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones. Use it to improve the quality of your meditation.

## Theta Waves (Legacy) Reviews in United States

### **--- "Absolutely Garbage"
I guess technically, it is what it says it is, but doesn’t actually provide what is needed of you are Neuro-Typical or Fring-Neuro-Typical. 😖

Could I please try and use the app before I’m inundated with ads for other apps. 😡

Decided to delete this permanently after 60 seconds. ❌❌❌

### ***** "App getting discontinued"
I really liked this app and have used it for years, but the developers are now getting rid of this app! The music is nice and calming and you could mix it with binuaral waves or nature sounds which is nice for sleeping or relaxing.. very bummed out that the app is going to be removed!
-- Jeff Pham, 2020-11-09

### ***** "I like !"
App is definitely helpful and does a great job helping me to get in a more relaxed state so I can do visualizations and meditations !
-- 👩🏼‍🦲 Nat, 2020-09-20

### *---- "Hz"
I want 5hz and apparently there is no way to set the yone at exactly that frequency.
-- TJ sjb, 2019-05-14

### *---- "Horrible sound"
SO not relaxing at all. *** if you are prone to seizures, do NOT use these types of sounds!! Plus it is annoying as heck, not relaxing. Wanna sleep with buzzing or weird noise uh ye, NO!!? The best sleep app is “sleep pillow”....This theta one was referred to me. Told my friend I hate those buzzing annoying type apps, they are no good, but I turned it on after install. Immediately stopped it and uninstalled. Horrible

### ****- "I like this but...."
I like this but when there are misspelled words it doesn't give much confidence in the product for me.
-- Sew4me, 2017-07-16

### ***** "Great app!"
It worked for me.
-- AzAgc, 2017-02-08

### ***** "Best meditation app I've found"
Was looking for an app that had a mellow soundtrack while I meditated. This one is it. I like the soft music. I usually don't turn on the optional pitched sound. I would use the theta wave sound if I could turn the volume down a bit because it drowns out the other music by blaring over it. Other than that, the app works great and you can listen without the timer on and it still runs when you lock the phone. Great app!

### **--- "Good app but have some issues"
Just bought premium pack, and discovered that I can't change nor vibe sounds nor background sounds. Non changes made in playback when i change it in settings. Please fix that.

### ***-- "Should I get this?"
I do have sleeping problems but I just want to know, is this healthy?
