Things has help me organize my life and get things done daily. It also helps me build habits and reminds me of all the things I have to do daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. I have been using it for more than 3 months now. I definitely recommend it.
Love the app so far, only issue is after syncing to my Apple Watch I was able to see my tasks, but when I marked them complete, those tasks still show in the watch face widget.
The tutorial is vague to say the least. I’m still confused on how everything is categorized and how and when I will receive reminders, possibly a comprehensive calendar or some sort of “it’s all here and sorted and organized etc”. So frustrating so I never use it. Paid like 40 bucks and never use it. 🤦♀️
I’ve been using this app for over five years and I honestly love it! There is one minor glitch going on right now. Whenever I have a repeating project, and I add those to dos to my daily to do list, they appear significantly out of order. Could you please fix this?
I really appreciate everything this app has to offer. Everything is structured and I’ve achieved so much in my life already from using it. An awesome feature to add on in the future would be photos, or Icons. Maybe even a notion collab or integration. Anyways. Thank you to the team at Things 3. You’re doing great.
The app has a beautiful design but no natural language task input is a dealbreaker for me. Natural language input is a must when trying to add tasks quickly.
Can’t collab with others
.
I love the flow of the app. It feels really good to use and I like that it isn’t overflowing with complication. One thing that I would love, which may seem a little redundant, would be to have tasks able to be locked until other specific tasks are marked off. Kind of like the checklist feature, except if it could be with other tasks from anywhere. Like having a “Long Term Goals” Area with something like “Get a job in so and so career”, but it couldn’t be marked off until you marked off “Graduate” under the “School” Area. Sure you can do that without a feature like this, and you can pretty much do that with individual Projects, but it would be cool to see that work across all your Areas and Projects, leading up to one big goal. It would be like different paths are unlocking, and I think it would be distinct enough to act different than Projects themselves. Another example would be a Project to finish reading a book, with Tasks being “Finish chapter one”, “Finish chapter two”, etc. Finishing the book would be the goal of the Project, but what if there was a “Start a book club” Project or Task that only unlocked once you marked off finishing chapter one? I think that would be exciting to open and unlock things like that.
