Think Dirty is the easiest way to learn about the potentially toxic ingredients in your cosmetics and personal care products. It’s an independent source that allows you to compare products as you shop. Just scan the product barcode and Think Dirty will give you easy-to-understand info on the product, track dirty ingredients, and shop for cleaner options.
• Search by Keyword or Barcode Scanning: Over 850,000 cosmetics and personal care products majority from Canada and the U.S. are currently in our database.
• Personalized Ingredient Preferences (Premium): Save time by pre-selecting your Allergens, Ingredient preferences and personalizing your shopping experience. Ingredient alerts will be presented if we find any flagged ingredients in the products you viewed.
• Search by Ingredient (Premium): Unlock to get detailed information about its usage, health impact, sources, and which products contain such ingredients.
• Search by Curated Categories (Premium Feature): Unlock to access our curated specialty lists such as Mineral Sunscreens, SLES-Free Skincare, Vegan Makeup
• Dirty Meter®: A comprehensive rating is given, along with detailed (but easy-to-understand) information on ingredients, certifications, and health impacts.

Great app
This app is really good for you. I mostly use it on hair products and my hair has started being so much healthier and silkier than before.100% recommended.
Helpful and educational
Really helpful when I need a refill of a product to check if something is actually clean and find new brands. App makes it easy because I can even search in a store when deciding between two brands, rather than going down a rabbit-hole of research.
Clean shopper
This app is awesome and very useful. As someone who has tried to stay clear of harmful chemicals in all my products it was very time consuming googling and researching before going shopping. This app has changed that and has made it so much easier to clean shop!

I don’t buy beauty products until I first check with Think Dirty. Such a great and reliable source. I’m glad someone is doing the legwork and being honest about what these companies put into products. The health and beauty industry needs to be held accountable!!!

Great reference site!! Still missing some products.
Fees
I did like this app but now they want you to pay a fee in order to see the results from a lot of the products. That’s very disappointing in this time when everybody is struggling just to survive. Extremely disappointed in the app.

I love it but there are a few problems.
There is some products that I use daily that are not listed. I love the app but the free trial is something that I don’t like about the app. The free trial is only a few days long I feel like you shouldn’t have to pay to check how clean your products are.
