In This Is the Police 2 - dem Nachfolger des gefeierten Film Noir-Dramas This Is the Police! - nimmst du das Gesetz selbst in die Hand. Leite deine Polizeibehörde, teile deine Cops ein, ermittle, verhöre und verhafte Verdächtige. In dieser story-getriebenen Mischung aus Adventure, Strategie und rundenbasierten Taktikkämpfen musste du harte Entscheidungen treffen - und versuchen, nicht selbst im Gefängnis zu landen!

Ist es eine Simulation? Ein Management-Spiel? Eine taktische Herausforderung? Eine Visual Novel? Ein Rätsel? Es ist alles davon und noch mehr!

Tauche in ein einmaliges, story-getriebenes Erlebnis ein.
Willkommen in Sharpwood, einer kalten und rauen Grenzstadt, in der die Gewalt herrscht und niemand wirklich unschuldig ist. Die Heimat von Schmugglern, Gangs und lautstarken Populisten. Um hier den Frieden wahren zu können, wird die junge Sheriff Lilly Reed (Sarah Hamilton) sich mit dem flüchtigen Kriminellen Jack Boyd (Jon St. John) verbünden müssen - und beten, dass ihr gefährlicher Plan nicht im Chaos endet.

Übernimm die Leitung der Polizei.
Deine Untergebenen sind nicht einfach nur eine Ressource; sie sind lebende Menschen mit ihren eigenen Stärken, Schwächen, Ängsten und Vorurteilen - und du wirst alles davon mit einberechnen müssen, wenn du überleben willst. Trinkt einer deiner Leute zu viel? Oder kommt ständig mit neuen Ausreden, warum er nicht arbeiten kann? Oder weigert er sich, Befehle zu befolgen? Du wirst Durchsetzungsvermögen beweisen müssen, wenn du dieser Wache Ordnung aufzwingen willst.

Stelle dich taktischen Kämpfen.
Für die gefährlichsten Einsätze wird das Spiel zu rundenbasierten Taktikkämpfen wechseln. Stelle ein Team deiner besten Polizisten zusammen. Zieh sorgfältig die Lage in Betracht, passe deine Pläne an, nähere dich den Verdächtigen unbemerkt und setze nicht-tödliche Waffen und Ausrüstung ein - wenn es die Situation erlaubt. Manchmal mag eine Schießerei unvermeidlich sein, aber sei vorsichtig: In This is the Police 2 gibt es keine Lebenspunkte. Eine einzige Kugel kann deine Leute das Leben kosten.

Werde zu einem wahren Ermittler.
Sammle Beweise, untersuche die Unterlagen, verhöre Verdächtige und schicke die Verbrecher vor Gericht. Und wenn der Verdächtige unschuldig ist? Dann ist es vielleicht an der Zeit, herauszufinden, ob die Richter in Sharpwood bestechlich sind.

Das Spiel ist interessant, jedoch kommt die Story nur schwer Fahrt. Was jedoch total frustriert ist das Speichersystem: kein freies Speichern sondern nur zu Tagesende. Das bedeutet bei Fehlern in der Taktikmission den ganzen Tag zu wiederholen. Wie lästig. Warum kann ich eine solche Mission nicht unabhängig planen - auch mit Waffen etc...

Dauernd den selben Sachen zu wiederholen ist frustrierend. Lasst mich selber entscheiden wann ich Speicher..

It’s really cool. You have multiple choices and they can affect your game overall. Really realistic and i can’t wait for the next update!
But the story mode is not too long and not too short. Just perfect.

Die Story zieht sich am Anfang total in die Länge. Es dauert gefühlt 45 Minuten bis man endlich spielen kann. Story ist Wichtig aber meiner Meinung nach zu viel.

Ich persönlich finde die Taktik Missionen auch am Anfang vom Schwierigkeitsgrad zu heftig. Schon in der ersten Mission 11 Gegner und eine Bombe das heißt Zeitlimit. Außerdem sieht man nicht die Fähigkeiten der Polizisten. So das man sich vorher den Namen mit der höchsten Intelligenz merken muss. 

Aber schlecht ist das Game nicht.

Das Spiel an sich ist unterhaltsam mit witzigen Dialogen, wenn man sie denn lesen kann. Es gibt enorm viele Dialoge mit Untertiteln die jedoch viel zu schnell wechseln ich kann jeden zweiten Satz nicht zu Ende lesen. Dadurch geht mir viel von der Story und der Atmosphäre flöten. Schade mit einer deutschen Synchronisation wäre es Top gewesen.
