The login with my print subscription account data used to work fine through 2021. Now I have to use some sort of extreme measures to get it to work and then I’m only able to read the current issue, and the former downloads no longer stay active in my account. I really wish their customer service would make this a more user-friendly app for those of us who have been long time subscribers of this magazine. -- SusieQ324, 2024-02-16 ### *---- "App & Support are useless" Haven’t been able to download any issues since Fall 2022, even though I have an active print subscription? Customer service sends scripted help desk replies which don’t address the issue. Tell me if I’m wrong? If I have an active print subscription I should be able to log on and download the digital app issue for free. Keeps asking for $4.99 an issue! Worked flawlessly up until a year ago! -- cspayne57, 2023-11-17 ### *---- "Review of This Old House magazine" I have been unable to get the last 2 issues on my app. I’ve removed the app, reloaded it, sighed in and nothing works. I’ve contacted TOH. Department that handles the downloaded issue and they have not resolved the issues what so ever. So I’m very disappointed in TOH. Not being able to resolve the problem -- estero coconut, 2023-06-16 ### *---- "Crummy and difficult to use" The app continues to be buggy - currently won’t let me open the newest issue and wants me to pay for it, even though I am already a monthly subscriber. Disappointing and just about ready to cancel and move on. -- lindylaura222, 2021-08-29 ### *---- "Awful app!" The latest issue arrived in the app yesterday but this has to be the worst idea ever: You swipe left to right to find ads and stories, then to read a story you have to scroll DOWN. Then you have to scroll back to the top to scroll over to the next story. There aren’t even page numbers or a way to favorite a story for reading later, such as a few months from now. This is just stupid! -- annarborguy2314, 2020-09-04 ### *---- "Terrible" I paid for a full subscription and haven’t been able to access a single issue. This app is confusing and unusable. -- openjetty, 2019-12-29 ### *---- "Can’t log in no reply from tech support" I’m been a TOH Insider for two years - but this App will not recognize my email address or account number. Emailed their “problems logging in?” Tech support a few months ago but never received a reply. -- dwagneriowa, 2019-11-22 ### *---- "Annoying, I’ll not bother" Somethings not clicking with the subscription. It asks if I would like a free trial so I give it a try, sign up and download the magazine app from App Store. Seems to work OK I download an issue and look through it briefly and look forward to returning when I have time. Well, now when returning, IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY EMAIL ADDRESS!!!! Probably something I’m doing wrong but don’t care to dig into it. I cancelled the trial. Print is too small anyway and it’s cumbersome to get around in. Probably need to buy old issues if want to view older articles found via searches anyhow. Not worth the hassle. -- 12332455443, 2019-11-18 ### *---- "No longer works" App no longer recognizes paid print/digital subscription after update. -- Dznylvr, 2019-09-27 ### *---- "App does not work" Had paid for both access to the app and magazine for TOH but for the last 3 weeks have not been able to log into the app. I have emailed both the publisher and app developer regarding this issue. They both confirmed my account access, email address and zip, yet can’t identify why I get “email not found” when logging into the app. Developer said try without entering a zip but still no resolution. What is also frustrating is that it’s taking days for the developer to response back to me. -- JayRobinson79, 2019-09-05 [View all This Old House reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## This Old House In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | This Old House Monthly Subscription | $1.99 | | This Old House Annual Subscription | $15.99 | | November/December 2016 | $4.99 | | January/February 2017 | $4.99 | | March/April 2017 | $4.99 | | October 2016 | $4.99 | | January/February 2019 | $4.99 | | January/February 2018 | $4.99 | | This Old House Issue 173 | $4.99 | | May 2018 | $4.99 | ## This Old House Discovered Keywords -
