I will use the app once to look up a food and the next time the screen is blank. I have to delete tge app and add it again. The cycle keeps continuing. I have an iPhone.

### ***** "Absolutely great for THM beginners"
This app is great for a THM beginner like me who says 35 times a day “what category does that thing fall into?!” Super nice not to have to consult the plan book every time I want a snack 👍🏼 just type in a food item or ingredient and it tells me what category it falls into, and occasionally other helpful information. Very nice 
Pretty sure most of the negative reviews were left by people who were expecting something totally different out of this app

I downloaded the app and entered “cantaloupe” in the search window. Nothing came up. Will check it out again in six months or so to see if it’s improved

I love this app. It’s super helpful when matching ingredients. I have been following THM for years now. The only thing I wish this app had is a food journal of sorts, this way I could simply write E for breakfast, S for lunch, and so forth. The journal would be simply so I could track my day in terms of E’s and S’s to make sure I am not mixing fuels to close to one another. Just a preference though. I know THM is not about strict rules and food tracking... so totally not that big of a deal. Overall this app is GREAT!

I downloaded this app and all I can do is put an ingredient in the search bar to determine the fuel type.  Is that the extent to this app?

I was so excited when I discovered this app until I opened it up and saw what it was... it is ok and can be helpful for some things, but it isn’t what I really need and it could be developed into something awesome like many others have mentioned, and great ideas they have had as well that would be helpful!

If you do make any upgrades to this app... I would love to be able to type in a food type or two and have it pop up recipe options and the page numbers to which books they can be found or links to the recipes.  This is what I had been expecting, and it would be so very helpful! There are so many times I have not been able to plan ahead or I have a specific food type I need to use up and have a really hard time finding a recipe through the indexes... an app that could do this would be so much quicker and easier than paging through three or more books when you don’t have the time!

Thank you so much for all of your time and energy of doing the research and developing products and recipes for us, Serene, Pearl and everyone else that works behind the scenes... you are all so very much appreciated!

This is just right for when I’m in a hurry and just want to quickly check something like butternut squash before I lather it in butter and nutritional yeast. No temptation to worry over calories or anything, just the basics, which is what I’ve loved about THM for four years!

### ***** "Great app for determining fuel sources!!!!!"
The new THM app is an awesome help for Trim Healthy Mamas. Simply launch the app, type/tap in the food you wish to check and the type fuel pops up immediately! Much faster than pulling out a book and searching the list for it, searching online for it or posting on a FB page for an answer. (Also more accurate than searching for an answer, just sayin’).  

Not every food in the world is listed in the app, but honestly, if you think canned soup is a clean food source, (I mean this gently, folks)... then you need to read the book. 

If you think this app tracks your food or plans your meals*, well, that’s not the stated purpose of this app, so please read what it is meant to do before downrating it. (*if you need meal planning or recipe help, check out the THM Membership! I love that, too!!!!).

I am so excited about this app and look forward to the apps THM has in development.

EDIT: if you type in some food that isn’t in the list, there is a pop up so you can suggest it be added. Cool!
