App und die Plattform mögen technisch gut sein. Die zukünftige Anbindung ans Fediverse ist ein guter Ansatz. Aber es ist wie immer eine Plattform ist nur so interessant wie die Menschen die sich darauf bewegen und threads ist eine Katastrophe. Rage Bait wohin man sieht und das ist kein Bubble Problem, denn der Algorithmus spült einem diesen Nonsens ungefragt in die Timeline. Threads und die Menschen darauf sind eine Zumutung in jeder Hinsicht.

Ich habe die App „Threads“ ausprobiert und fühle mich ein wenig, als wäre ich vor 20 Jahren zurückversetzt worden. Die Funktionen und die Art der Kommunikation erinnern stark an die frühen Jahre von Facebook, mit Bildern und simplen „Guten Morgen“-Beiträgen. Leider fand ich die Unterhaltungen wenig tiefgründig und oft belanglos. Es scheint, als ob die Benutzer hauptsächlich darauf bedacht sind, im Mittelpunkt zu stehen, ohne echtes Interesse an den Diskussionen oder den Profilen anderer zu zeigen. Insgesamt hinterlässt die App einen eher egoistischen Eindruck und bietet wenig Mehrwert. Persönlich finde ich sie eher enttäuschend und nicht wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ich sehe in Instagram immer wieder interessante News, welche in Threads sind, darum habe ich mir die App geholt. Leider ohne Mehrwert: Wenn ich in Insta eine News in Threads anklicke, komme ich nicht zu dieser Meldung! 
Ich würde es als Bug bezeichnen. Für mich unbrauchbar.

At first I loved the app, the recommended content was always great, and it seemed that they were really showing my content too. But everything is sweet only in the beginning. Now, to be honest, I really don’t like using the app anymore, first of all, they are not showing my content to people, not even my followers get to see my content, and, what is even worse, I can’t post at all! There are really people out there who like me and want to see my content, but no matter how I try, it’s no use, I try posting, the thread is loading for a while and then all of the sudden the app closes by itself, without that thread being posted. It’s quite annoying, frustrating and disappointing. The app is of course always updated, there’s nothing wrong here on my side. I have tried writing to Threads, reported the problem, but they just don’t care. Their customer support is non existent. They are the worst.
