I’m about leaving 3 for this reason
After this review I’ll be leaving 3 simply because of this App. Periodically, they send me an update which I cannot override so I HAVE TO update, when I go back to the App they ask me to log in, the problem is, they refuse the password claiming it is wrong, IT CANNOT BE WRONG BECAUSE I SEND IT AS A MESSAGE TO MYSELF, they refuse any previous passwords used so I have to creat a new one, I’m not just fed up but also run out of any passwords, there’s no passwords on me anymore. It is better for me to avoid all this and move on to a network that gives me a peace of mind
Awful App
Have to log back-in everytime I use this app. Tried un-installing but doesn't help. Customer service is diabolical.

Stop trying to drive me into auto renew. You’ve taken away the ability for me to load an add on for next month. Now I have to wait for it to expire, then buy an add on (with no internet so I have to phone, another awful thing)
No thanks. Ether let me load the add on for next month or I’m just gonna leave. Sick to death of this slow app that almost never actually works & you changing things in a sly way to push me into something that’s beneficial for you & not me. LET ME LOAD THE DAM ADD ON FOR NEXT MONTH WHILST HAVING AN ADD ON.

Three accounts don’t let you buy a handset outright
Unfortunately I pay for a sim only contract with three.
I say unfortunately because they have a good deal on a handset that I want to buy outright, available on PAYG. It seems that when I try and buy it, it insists that I upgrade my current contract, rather than giving me the option to buy it as a PAYG phone. I tried in store, but they only told me they didn’t have it in stock and couldn’t get it delivered in store. So I can’t order it because I already have a three account, and would have to drive to another town if I wanted to buy one from three.
Awful App
Unusable. Just another way for Three to ignore you. If anyone is thinking of joining Three , don’t. Impossible to get hold of a human whether on chat or phone. I’m not even trying to leave I just want to sort something out. I’m thinking it might be better to leave though as I have been trying for more than an hour. Avoid.
Disappointing Experience with Three Mobile
I've been a Three mobile customer for some time now, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. Initially, I was paying £6 a month, which was a reasonable rate. However, my bill has inexplicably doubled to £12 a month. Upon investigation, I discovered that a recurring payment discount had been removed from my account without any notification or explanation. This lack of transparency is frustrating and unacceptable.
Adding to the frustration is the Three app, which is incredibly slow and behaves erratically. The interface is cumbersome and not user-friendly, making it difficult to manage my account effectively.
Moreover, the network coverage is subpar. Despite the promise of robust 5G service, I find that it barely works, leaving me with unreliable connectivity. This is especially disappointing given the higher price I'm now paying.
Overall, my experience with Three has been disappointing, and I cannot recommend switching to this provider. The combination of poor customer service, unreliable network coverage, and an inefficient app makes it a provider I would advise others to avoid.
Sick and tired
Of being required to log in every time I use the app, and then having my login details rejected.
Worst f…ing mobile provider ever!
Bad signal coverage outside big cities, thieving roaming not covering most of the world, not responsive account management…. and so on and on and on
