Threema is designed from the ground up to generate as little data on servers as possible. Group memberships and contact lists are managed on your device only, and never stored on our servers. Messages are immediately deleted after they have been delivered. Local files are stored encrypted on your mobile phone or tablet. All this effectively prevents the collection and misuse of your personal information, including metadata. Threema is fully compliant with the European privacy legislation (GDPR).
ROCK-SOLID ENCRYPTION
Threema end-to-end encrypts all your communication, including messages, voice and video calls, group chats, files, and even status messages. Only the intended recipient, and nobody else, can read your messages. Threema uses the trusted open source NaCl cryptography library for encryption. The encryption keys are generated and safely stored on the users’ devices to prevent backdoor access or copies.

Disappering messages
A good app but why need disappering messages , implement this on app please.
From best to…?
Was my preferred secure messaging app. Now sending messages takes ages… the send message gets delivered days later, even though I have a stable working internet connection. So please, do something! It’s annoying to see that a paid app behaves like this.

There is room for improvements
You need some improvements.. it looks like an old whatsapp. Please change the interface a little bit and also add gifs!I appreciate that it is quite secure

It is a very secure chat app, however nobody in România uses this, so it s a waste of money for me

Un soft perfect. Păcat ca nu e cunoscut in România. Niciunul din contactele mele nu-l folosește.

By far the best paid messenger app. This scored almost perfect at the EFF chart. Too bad FOR people not using on a daily basis (except Germany, as i read) By choice and not by chance, it is Swiss-based Wake up people. Highly recommend
