All this effectively prevents the collection and misuse of your personal information, including metadata. Threema is fully compliant with the European privacy legislation (GDPR).
ROCK-SOLID ENCRYPTION
Threema end-to-end encrypts all your communication, including messages, voice and video calls, group chats, files, and even status messages. Only the intended recipient, and nobody else, can read your messages. Threema uses the trusted open source NaCl cryptography library for encryption. The encryption keys are generated and safely stored on the users’ devices to prevent backdoor access or copies.

The latest version remembers language and keyboard for each chat! This seemingly tiny detail is so important for a European chat app - makes this version ten times better than the previous one. Finally I am able to give it a five star review! 😀

Synkar inte med mina kontakter, vilket är riktigt trist. Annars verkar det vara en bra app, men betyget dras ner ordentligt just pågrund av att det inte synkar.

Texts not delivered. Calls dropped or not started at all. Threema is seriously playing with its reputation these days.

En smidig o säker app för meddelanden o samtal, Threema ligger dessutom med sina servrar i landet med dom absolut strängaste integritetslagarna i världen. Om jag fick önska så skulle det finnas möjlighet att ställa in tid för självradering av meddelanden för varje enskild kontakt. Annars är jag helnöjd. Kan varmt rekommendera Threema till er som ännu inte har den!👍👌

Keyboard problems
The app keeps showing me the US keyboard even if it is not activated in iOS setting. This makes switching between emoji keyboard and swedish keyboard a problem and it makes my writing really slow.....
