Thrift+ FAQ
Is Thrift+ free?
Yes, Thrift+ is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Thrift+ legit?
⚠️ The Thrift+ app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I love buying second hand clothes and often buy things from thrift plus from eBay etc but the app is terrible. Every time you view an item you have to go back to the home page and go through the whole search and filter process again rather than going straight back to the filtered list. If there is a way to do this I haven’t found it which shows the app is badly designed. Also all the dresses it classifies as midi are actually mini. A big difference and one of which the people who work there should be aware.
SCAM APP
Scam. Will take your items, sell them and not give you either credits or money… absolute disappointment
Not worth it
Should of used Vinted! Hardly get any of the money from what sells, and when you do it goes straight to the credits so I have to use it to buy something from thrift, instead of it going to my bank! I’ve sold clothes and should of made £43.23 but no, I only get £7.50 because thrift take most of the money! If I’d used something else I would had gotten it all. Wouldn’t recommend this app, proper scam.
Great site, app not functional
This site is great and is a great concept, but the app, mainly the checkout simply doesn’t work at all and is riddled with bugs, and I end up having to use browser to order and send bags. If the app worked I would give 5, but honestly don’t bother just use the site on a browser instead, as I think this company is a great idea and works!
App and website for shopping is awful
I really want to like this and have credit to use but I can’t shop on this app. I don’t even know how to go back to search results after clicking on an item
No going back tab
It’s odd. Every time I search for anything I can't find the going back tab which is so annoying, and the app forces me to go back to the HOME page ALL THE TIME.
Not user friendly
I am getting so frustrated by this app, I can’t work out how to to go back a page, so I always end up at the front page. You can’t filter well. It’s functionality is as though the app doesn’t want to be used.
Worst app I have ever used!!!
I love the whole concept of Thrift and have sent tons of bags to them. It saves me a lot of time and it's good for the planet. HOWEVER - and this is a big one - if you want to search for and buy stuff, it's practically unusable unless you're extremely determined, and find workarounds. Eg if you're searching for a certain brand and click on an item, the search is lost when you try to go back from the item to the listed items of that brand. It's incredibly frustrating and hard to understand why it's not much easier to use. Sometimes I just give up so I assume many sales are lost because of the app and website's very poor functionality. The website designer should be sacked and a replacement found who will ask about the end user's experiences. I'll be happy to assist!!
App almost unusable
Love the idea of thrift but the app is so poorly made and has so many bugs I’d just rather use another site with an app that actually works like Vinted.
Great idea. Terrible app.
Great idea. Terrible app. I mean, at least include a ‘back button’ so you don’t have to redo your search every single time. Given up on it.
