使ってないのにバッテリーの消費が激しいなと思って調べてみたらたらこのアプリがバックグラウンドで延々と何かしてたみたいで気持ち悪いので削除しました

ThumbJam makes use of tilt and shake to add vibrato, tremolo, note bends, and volume swells for more realistic and expressive results. It supports up to five (eleven on iPad) simultaneous touches and up to 32 voice polyphony, for each of up to 8 loaded instruments! Delay and stereo reverb add depth to the sound, and a resonant lowpass filter gives you more tone shaping power. Put on your headphones or plug in to your home stereo to experience some of the highest quality instruments in the App Store, even after all these years!
Build your own loops from the ground up or import your favorites and jam from there. Layer as many loops as you want, with different instruments for each. Export your loops as audio files via WiFi. Copy and paste audio from other apps using AudioCopy/Paste as well the general pasteboard, via email, AudioShare, iTunes Document Sharing, Files, or open directly in another application. Supports Audiobus and InterApp Audio for streaming sound to/from other apps in real-time, including state save/restore with Audiobus 3.
Extensive MIDI input and output support over WiFi or Bluetooth, with any CoreMidi compatible device, or other apps on the same iOS device with virtual MIDI. Now also supports Ableton Link for tight sync between apps on the same network. Supports MPE input and output (and did so before it was even a thing)!
New powerful arpeggiator feature lets you play patterns with perfect time sync, from the screen or via MIDI control.

落ちる
cubasis 3と繋いで使おうとしましたが、とにかく落ちます。アプリをオフにして立ち上げての繰り返し。音はいいけど、使えません。

Great App
This is a truly wonderful app, which I use frequently for playing around with sound. Recently I noticed a little problem: When I have a split screen with more than one instrument open, coming back to the app after doing something else, all instruments except one can not be used anymore. It seems I have to either reload them or quit and restart the app. Please fix this!
inter device audio mode
osxのヴァージョンアップによりiMacにusb接続してLogic X proのaudio truckに直接入力できるようになったので、ガンガン使っています。
簡単な音確認に便利ですね！
iPhone 4S で利用しています。 仕事が演奏以外に作曲・編曲が多く、旅先で音の確認しながらちょっとした音のライン（メロディやオブリガート）を決めるのに重宝しています。 録音には、実際にこの音源を使ったことはありません。音のメモをこれで作っておいて、スタジオでは実際の楽器かシンセなどで演奏します。 昔は移動中となるといちいち五線紙を広げて書いたものですが、iPod や iPhone G3 を使い始めてからは、音声メモでハミングで録っておくことも多いです。 このアプリでは自分の声を出すこともなく、イヤフォンを付けてどこでも欲しい音色で簡単な音の流れがメモできるのが有り難いと思います。 遊び感覚でいじっていると、誰でも簡単に操作を覚えられると思いますので、ぜひ楽しんでみてください。
音源として
通常は800円のようなので、この機会に購入。様々な楽器の音源を再現できることにメリットを感じました。本来の楽しみは曲作り、シーケンサーとしてですが、そこまで技量がないと何のことかわかりません。ただ楽器を弾いている楽しみは経験のない方でも味わえます。よくある鍵盤のアプリよりキーに幅があるので、音感を鍛えたり、チューナーとしても使えそうです。
iPadが楽器になります。
音楽に興味がある人は、とりあえず触ってみて欲しいアプリ。 お遊びで適当に演奏していても楽しいですし、 本格的な演奏にも使えるかもしれません。 英語表記ですが、いじっていれば大体理解出ると思います。 音源がとても良いので、 単純な曲でも演奏していて楽しいです。 デフォルトでも相当な数の音色がありますが、 どんどん追加されてます。 ちょっと言いすぎかもしれませんが、 操作性も含め、電子楽器の一つの完成系なのかも…と思ったり。 5人ぐらいでiPadとThumbJamで合奏出来たら楽しそうですね。 押したら凹む、叩いたら振動する…といったフィードバックが 無いのはデバイスの都合上仕方ありませんが、 広く浅く、あらゆる楽器を直感的に奏でられるのは 素晴らしいと思います。 子供の頃にこういった物があれば良かったなぁ、と思いました。
アナログ的な遊びが出来ますね〜♫
シーケンサーって感じじゃないです。 でも、このアプリにかんしてはそれが良さなのかもしれませんね。 SALEだったので購入してみたんですが、購入して良かったと思いました。 他の方のレビューで、このアプリを入れると他のアプリに不具合が出たりファイルが消えるとあったのでちょっと心配でしたが、全く大丈夫でした。2010年に書かれたレビューなのでその頃のバージョンはそんな不具合が出たのかも知れませんが、今現在そういった不具合はありませんね〜 ちなみに僕の持ってるアプリで確認したものはGarage Bandと、BeatMake2と、FL Studioと、Rhythmと、iELECTRIBEと、iKaossilatorと、Animoogと、DM1と、iMS-20と、MLog PROと、Synth Stationです。 どのアプリも正常起動しますし、ファイルが壊れたり無くなったりする現象は起こりませんでした。 そんなわけで、興味あるけど古いレビューを読んで迷われてる人は安心して購入しても大丈夫です。 音色は癖があるので好みが分かれるかもしれませんので、購入前にYouTubeとかで確認しとくと良いと思います。 キーボードなんかもピアノのような配列じゃなくて、わかりやすく例えるとハーモニカなんですよね。 なので音楽経験ゼロの人、楽譜が全く読めない人、音楽の道に精通したプロい人、まんべんなく楽しめるアプリなんではないでしょうか。 僕はSALEで購入したので、価格と質を考えたら星5つでも少ないくらいだと思ってます。 長々失礼しました。
セッションに
もともとはmidi鍵盤で弾くための生演奏系の音源が欲しかったので購入しましたが、iPad操作での演奏があまりに楽しいので鍵盤なくても大丈夫でしたw バンドメンバーで自宅セッションをやってみたのですが、管楽器の子にこれを渡したところ相当ハマってくれました。 音源をトランペットにして、音はギターアンプから出して、エディットでリバーブやディレイなどを外して、好きなスケールを選んで・・・これで立派な演奏パートになります。 iPadを揺らせばビブラート、傾ければピッチベンドが出来ます。 単体で作曲ツールとして使うよりも、タッチパネルの一つの楽器だと思えばこんなに使えるアプリはないと思います。 できればバンドメンバー全員ThumbJamでセッションしたいw
