It works for thunder and lightning, fireworks, rocket launches, or other loud events visible from a (hopefully safe) distance away. Just press the Lightning button when you see the event, and Thunder when you hear it. Modern technology does the rest. To perform this trivial task even more accurately, you can enter the temperature of your surroundings to more precisely calculate the speed of sound. You can also choose between U.S./Imperial and metric measurements depending on your personal unit preferences. Should its intended purpose be insufficiently useful, this application can also be used as a reasonably precise (if redundant) stopwatch, a speed-of-sound calculator, a Fahrenheit/Celsius converter, or as an odometer if you happen to be traveling at precisely the speed of sound. Note: Use of application while operating supersonic aircraft is not recommended or approved. ## Thunder & Lightning Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple71/v4/63/3a/a2/633aa2ff-7987-b213-ac6e-fef433266c81/pr_source.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple22/v4/1b/ad/f0/1badf017-b1da-1718-7b64-55f529270d29/pr_source.png/1242x2208.png) ## Thunder & Lightning Rating Breakdown in Australia - 5 stars: 33 (24%) - 4 stars: 20 (15%) - 3 stars: 33 (24%) - 2 stars: 19 (14%) - 1 stars: 31 (23%) ## Thunder & Lightning Reviews in Australia ### ****- "Great idea" A really good idea for an iPhone app. Is configurable for metric or imperial. Nice work guys. Well done. -- Flaymr, 2009-02-26 ### ***** "Haha" I love it. The irreverence you have given your own app, the way it's all set out, the way you can onfigure it to the point of complete uselessness. But funnily enough, this is a solid, expertly done done, that quite honestly deserves five stars. Check it out. -- Everybody Lies, 2008-10-04 [View all Thunder & Lightning reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Thunder & Lightning Discovered Keywords - thunder - lightning pro - lightning app - lightning ## Thunder & Lightning Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/australia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/germany) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/canada) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/netherlands) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/italy) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/france) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/japan) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/switzerland) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/sweden) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/norway) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/spain) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/united-states) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/belgium) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/greece) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/austria) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/new-zealand) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/denmark) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/ireland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/portugal) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/finland) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/united-kingdom) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/thunder-lightning-rTxk/luxembourg) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
