HOW TO PLAY TICKET TO RIDE®:

Players are dealt a number of tickets and must pick a certain number to keep (depending on the map). 
Players are also dealt four train cards of various colours. This number can also vary depending on the map you’re playing on, but don’t worry – the AI takes care of this!
Each turn, players can draw two train cards from the face-up pile, draw two train cards from the face-down pile, draw another ticket to complete, or use their train cards to claim a route! A claimed route is shown by placing train pieces along the route.
When a player has three or fewer train pieces left, the last round starts. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game is the winner!

This new version made me quit playing the game entirely. There is too much happenig on the screen even with the simplify version. The only positive thing the old version didn’t have was that the colour of your player didn’t change from phone to phone, at that says a lot. Please bring back the old version or just pieces of it.

It’s a fun game. I really wish there was a game mode or something that allowed us, as a household, to play with each other on the same device when we’re travelling. 

I also hope we get new maps soon, and I really hope for the legacy game as a story mode.

Meanwhile they are pulling the plug on the old version April 3. If you love playing Ticket to Ride online head over to BoardgameArena. Free to play TtR, best online experience right now. Maybe Marmelade will fix things in time, but right now its a waste of time. If someone leaves the game it’s basically over, no AI steps in. There is no ranking system. No chat. Board is harder to read.

Basic functions in single player work fine…

I seem to be having a problem with the European map ATM, I have read over the game rules over and over, but it seems like the stations are bugged and don’t actually finish routes, on my route cards I get a small station icon in the lower left, but the routes remain “unfinished”, then when the scoring comes I still lose points for all those routes that I thought I had connected with stations.

The old one was much better. First we have bought a lot of different maps etc in the old game, and need to buy everything again. And the multiplayer version is not working good. People will not start game, and they will not use their turn. No ranking and more. This needs to be improved.

It is difficult to see what is going on on the board, the carts are far too small, the tracks are far too small and it is difficult to choose a track. Multiplayer barely works, if a player leaves the game no ai comes to take over the game and everyone just has to quit. In addition, the summary at the end is bad, it is difficult to see which tickets the others had, and no excitement. There is also no ranking in the game, so you cannot choose to play with players at the same level as yourself. All in all, I am very disappointed with this version.
