Hi quality and stable

The home panel is terrible

The real problem is when using Tidal in Apple carplay only few Shortcuts icons appear at the home screen instead of “recently played” “my mixes etc. It makes using Tidal in Apple carplay virtually impossible

Worth the extra cost.

Best app for Hi-Fi music

On my B&O A9 I listen only to this app, it has superior music quality. There is a huge difference even with Apple Music, set aside all other popular music apps

Good app, but there is a room for improvement

Best streaming service, only a few caveats

Noam Shvartsman on

Israel

So as I wrote in the title, this is hands down the best music streaming service. But there are a few caveats, the first one which personally annoys me the most, the Dolby Atmos toggle that was added to the playback section is settings doesn’t work, so I cannot disable atmos! Additionally another issue for me would be tidals own, Tidal Connect support for Sonos hardware, Sonos allowed devices to play at 48Khz / 24bit yet the support for it is still not there. Just generally support for Sonos is really not that great… Tidal doesn’t support voice control on Sonos devices which is really handy most of the time. Voice assistant support in general is poor, even on mobile with Siri and Google assistant. Don’t get me started on the amount of versions for the same album, instead of being handled neatly with toggles for desired quality, and a toggle for atmos under the same album… each version shows up separately and especially for atmos it’s very hard to find the atmos version. On the TV app, you only get an atmos logo after opening the album and looking at the tracks, which makes this even worse cause I have to go through 13 versions of the album to find the atmos version… To conclude this, if you enjoy higher music quality, want to support your favorite artists more, and don’t care about Sonos support, and voice assistant integration, Tidal is for you.

The best app I’ve ever have

Love TIDAL with all my heart ❤️

Devices sync casting andconnect

Guy1#2 on

Israel

The app is made by music lovers no doubt. I love the live covers you did for some albums, Fantastic. Spotify connect and youtube casting are much better, available in the control center and lock window. But with the new hi res same price, Tidal wins the lot. Queue should be other way around, first in first out, and I need crossfade, please bring it back.

Search is awful

MoovitHater69 on

Israel

Search works really bad. You need to spell the song name exactly. Spotify has much faster and better search
