USING THE TIER APP

TIER electric scooters, bikes and mopeds give you the freedom to explore your city and to get where you need to be in a smart, safe, and sustainable way. Simply open the app and rent a ride with a few simple steps.

HOW TO START A TIER E-SCOOTER & GET GOING

• Download the TIER app, sign up, and add your preferred payment method
• Find a TIER scooter near you on the map
• Scan the QR code on the scooter to unlock it and start a ride
• Push the e-scooter forward to flick the kickstand back
• Put one foot on the board and push off with the other
• Push down the throttle to gain speed
• Let go of the throttle or use the brakes to slow down.
• Surf your city and enjoy the ride!

HOW TO END YOUR RIDE

• Find a safe place to park the scooter and flick the kickstand down
• Open the TIER app and tap 'End Ride'
• Get out there and live your best life!

Alcohol test stuck on loading screen

Tried to register a profile on the app, and since it’s late in the evening you have to pass a minigame to check that you are not intoxicated before you get access to the app. Unfortunately (and annoyingly), this game stuck on the counting down screen from 3 to 0, and the game never began. Meaning I cannot use the app. Super annoying, electric scooters are supposed to be convenient.

Så dårlig tilstand på både sykler og app at det ikke er verdt det.

Jeg kjører mye el-sparkesykke, men har enda tilgode å møte på en eneste velfungerende sykkel fra Tier. Helt ærlig håper jeg de går konkurs snart, slik at de kan erstattes med bedre merker. Sparkesykkelene stopper ofte opp uten forklaring eller grunn. Appen henger seg ofte opp også, slik at det tar opptil flere minutter å låse sparkesykkelen igjen. Minutter du selvsagt betaler for. Ikke stol på tier om du har hadtverk! Oftere enn ikke vil du bli forsinket til det skal.

Scanning of cards and qr codes dos not work with new iPhones. The image is blurry (to close to focus and not changing to the correct camera)
