We finally have a nice, easy to use app for taking time-lapses. The Apple Camera app limits this type of capture to 20-30 seconds no matter how long you shoot but with ReeLapse you can make one as long as you want. ReeLapse has a familiar UI to the other apps by this developer which makes using them very easy. The features in ReeLapse provide opportunities for a variety of time-lapse results.

For over six months now, I’ve been using this app into my workflow. When it’s working, it’s great! But with under a 50% success rate, it’s not my go to app anymore.
2nd UPDATE: Waited months for the first update on this app and they did not fix the items they said would be fixed. UPDATE: it’s now September and the interface is still not updated as the developer promised. I have Display Zoom set to Larger Text and because I do, the app is missing the functionality of Zebras, Histogram, Focus Peaking as well as the ability to change lenses and the resolution. I’m chalking it up to the app being at 1.0. I reached out to them regarding these issues and have been ignored, so for the time being the app gets 1 star.
The UI looks good. Didn’t get to really use it, as it only has 10 free uses. Based on its price, I didn’t want to risk buying something that I didn’t think was worth it.
Excellent value and quality. Complete auto or manual camera controls. The time lapse feature is easy to use and greats great videos. Motion blurr and light streaking effects are awesome. Early adopters are going to score a great deal.
Another app destined for the dust bin. The app crashes regularly. After documenting what causes the crash, i sent the information to their technical support. 5 weeks later, no response. SUGGESTION: don't pay fir any feature until you can get the results you want from the free trial.
This app is ultra confusing even for an experienced photographer. Too many in app purchase popups getting in the way of using the app. I could not get the results shown in the App Store listing. It’s more about getting you to buy then giving you a useful app. I gave up and uninstalled as it feels like this is more about a marketing ploy than actual photography. There’s better options out there.
The native Apple Time Lapse feature will only let you shoot 30 second videos in automatic settings. This new app is the answer to every photographers wishes. Finally manual controls! We can set the intervals and get way better results in 4K quality. Love this app and the results I’m getting so far.
