## Time To Burn 2024 Description
This is the (unofficial) Electronic Reference to the annual Burning Man festival. Rated "Must Have" by the Black Rock Gazette, and "Amazing" by the 20,000 burners who use it every year.

*A built-in packing list will help you make sure you haven't forgotten anything important

*Browse the comprehensive snapshot of the official Playa Calendar, with thousands of things to do while you are there. Favorite the events and camps that tickle your fancy.

*A week before the event, the Rockstar Librarian's festival music guide to DJ's and performances on the Playa will go live!

*The Black Rock City map is GPS aware, and can be used to locate yourself in the city, and get guidance to various locations.

If you have suggestions about how to make the app better, I would love to hear them.  The majority of the enhancements and upgrades in this version were suggested by the burningman community.

I hope you find the app useful, it's my gift to BRC.

While the Burning Man organization provides me access to the festival data, and has supported this app since 2010, the app is a private effort and is not produced nor endorsed by the Burning Man festival.

## Time To Burn 2024 Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Has a lot of info, but very early 00s"
Has the events, the camps, the music guide! However, app feels very much like an early 00s app. Text can be hard to read places. Doesn't feel like an iOS app.
-- Brice.pollock, 2023-08-26

### ***** "Great app but one thing"
Love this app! However, my phone is usually on dark mode because I have vision problems. When I open this app, half of it is white text on white background.

Edited: 5 stars bc fixed the bug!
-- Asdfghjklisaword, 2023-08-24

### ***** "Thank you! Dark mode?"
Update: And like that, the dark mode contrast is fixed and looks great. What an amazing gift to the community. Thanks!

This is such a treasured gift to the community. I run my phone in dark mode to save power, but it makes the colors almost unreadable on the app. Would you be able to solve for this? Thanks!
-- Thegland, 2023-08-23

### *---- "😭😭lost all my favorites"
The most recent app update wiped out all the events I had favorited.
-- Leewanda, 2023-08-21

### **--- "STILL need to fix font text color in iOS dark mode"
The text becomes white on white in significant parts of the app when iOS is set to dark mode. Has been this way for years for some mysterious reason.
-- Kudegras, 2023-08-21

### ***** "Great and useful app every year"
Hoping there will be news of a 2023 update soon
-- ScottLasVegas, 2023-07-16

### **--- "No way to find music?"
I saw that Rockstar Librarian said her guide was added to this app, but as of now I can’t find where. It would be great to be able to favorite certain sets on here, but the “bands” section does not seem to show any DJ sets, just “events” related to music. Searching by artist name doesn’t help either. Maybe RSL hasn’t been implemented yet?

Besides that, the UI is pretty rough. White text over white or light backgrounds makes it impossible to read, you can’t currently read the release notes. And nested menus are pretty broken. I’ll keep checking it out the rest of the week to see if it gets updated before I leave for the Playa, but in its current state it is not useful.
-- lvl70mage, 2022-08-24

### *---- "Formatting is wonky"
I don’t know why, but on my phone I can’t read half the text… it’s like black text on black background or white text on white background.
-- Gumpster2010, 2022-08-22

### ***-- "Unreadable for Dark display setting"
Works fine for the Light display setting, but the app is pretty much unusable on Dark mode
