Fun app to use with terrific results. I made the mistake of staying awake for the food on the return flight instead of sleeping!
I’ve used TimeShifter for several long haul trips. It works that’s for sure. The key thing is to input your travel plans well in advance, it won’t work as well if you leave it to the last minute. Some times the advice seems strange, but just go with it, when you arrive at your destination you will be glad you did. I only use three elements caffeine, light and sleep and it does the job.
I recently flew from London to Melbourne via LA. The time difference between LA and Melbourne was 19 hours, so I was keen to mitigate this. Timeshifter really, really helped. I’m not someone who sleeps well on planes, however even winding down during this time was enough to help. Safe to say it’s the first time I’ve “skipped” the jet lag!
I travelled through 8 timezones and back again in the space of 2 weeks and I followed what the app advised at each time interval and experienced no jet lag at all! I have made the same journey before and was exhausted and had insomnia for a few days each time. But not this time! I will definitely be using this again when I travel in future!
I’m a frequent traveller and generally do well managing my jet-lag, however for a recent trip I used Timeshifter. It was a game changer for me. The guidance with respect to when to sleep, when to be awake, when to have caffeine, when to have bright light made a massive difference. I had the necessary energy thru the day and was ready to slept each night. The app made it easy, removed all the guess work, mistakes and I experienced close to zero jet-lag. This app is now part of my regular travel routine.
I travel from Ireland to San Francisco several times a year and have always struggled for several days with jet lag on my return. Not anymore... I followed the plan on Timeshifter, which was quite easy, and got straight back into the local time zone. I highly recommend this app. Well worth the subscription
Hardly ever write app reviews but after giving Timeshifter a try, I had to recommend to others. Followed the plan on a trip from London to Seoul and barely felt any effect of jetlag, at all! Didn’t follow the plan too well on the way back and definitely noticed a difference. I’m a frequent traveller and this is an easy and informative way to make sure you don’t spend your trips relying on cups of coffee and feeling sluggish. I do think €10.99 a trip is a bit much, and so would have to be going long distance to use it again. That said, it’s definitely worth it if you have extra cash before your trip.
Found this really helpful. Flew from Dublin (Ireland) to Melbourne and never encountered any jet lag.
