Misleading advice on conquering jet lag — often promoted by non-experts — not only fails to help travelers but can make jet lag symptoms worse and may even cause harm.

This App is incredibkle.  It has changed the way I travel.

What an amazing app. We flew from New Zealand to the US and we used the app to get onto US time and we had no jet lag when we arrived. This made the start of our trip amazing! The app told us when to wake up/ go to bed. When to get light and when not and if we should have coffee. It was really easy to follow and was able to link through to our flights using our flight number. Great app!!

I’ve now used this app for three return journeys from New Zealand to the UK over the last two years and I absolutely swear by it, as I’ve never experienced significant jet lag. My last trip I didn’t have any jet lag whatsoever, which is pretty unbelievable! The light one can be tricky depending on your schedule but do what you can and it will still make a difference!

### ***** "Amazing, made my trip from UK to NZ enjoyable as opposed to exhausting!"
I would advise taking a couple days off work before you go anywhere, this enables you to easily follow the rules without feeling pressured to be without coffee or have sunglasses on or get up early and seek daylight. It may seem marginally extreme at times, but it’s honestly amazing and works so well. 
I was coming home for a wedding and only had a couple days to acclimatise to the time zone, but even from day one I have been fine.

I flew via the USA to the UK recently and followed the notifications from Timeshifter as best I could. I experienced the tiniest bit of jet lag in the first evening I was in the UK (maybe 10 minutes) and had a similar experience on return. Some instructions were a bit awkward, for example I was in the queue in LAX and had to wear my dark glasses and during one flight I needed to have bright light when the lights were dimmed on the plane, but I just opened my phone and did some reading with the brightness up. It was totally worth it to feel so free of the awful jet lag I usual get!!

It’s a great start to most of the info you need to reduce jet lag. Includes when/when not to sleep, get light, to drink coffee and to take melatonin. The light is the most important part if you don’t drink caffeine or take melatonin so it will still be useful for you. Hopefully, the’ll add in when to eat, how much, and protein/carb focus at a later date.

I’ve recently travelled from New Zealand to the Southern States of the USA, then a quick turnaround back to Aust before heading back home to NZ. I needed something to help with reducing the impact of Jetlag when I hit the US, then to guide me back across the Timezone shifts as I travelled back to Aust five days later. 

I found Timeshifter intuitive to use and follow. I liked that I could enter all of my flight legs and that it gave me useful notification to help me along the way.

I have and will recommend Timeshifter to anyone travelling internationally and wanting to be at their best when they get to their destination.
