## Tiny Bookshop Reviews in United States

### ***** "Fantastic Cozy Game"
I don’t write reviews often, but have to let everyone know about this game. Bought it on Steam a while back, loved it. I was ecstatic to find that it was on iOS just the other day, the day I got my iPhone Duo. Looks great on the Duo’s big screen! And for less than $10? It’s an absolute steal. This game is the coziest little game. It’s also where I’ve found out about some great books that I’ve bought! Highly recommend. Worth the one time payment. I only hope that the devs optimize for iPhone Duo soon so I don’t have black bars on the top and bottom of the screen while playing 🙏
-- ZJWatt, 2026-10-28

### ***** "People are dumb. The game is good."
It’s so frustrating when good games that the creators clearly cared about get swarmed with negative reviews because idiots on the App Store go “WHAT? ITS NOT FREE FOREVER?!” Don’t listen to the low reviews. They are made by people who can’t read anyway.
-- Shaboopei, 2026-10-26

### *---- "Total scam"
Total scam when you download this game for free. It makes you have to buy the full game regardless and this is disappointing. If you’re going to post a game for “free” then it should be free to play already. Not download then have to buy the full game as soon as you open the app. TOTAL SCAM
-- OwlQueen22, 2026-10-26

### ***** "Love it"
It’s a beautiful game and it keeps me entertained and helps me pick my next real life book to get into ❤️❤️❤️
-- hellllloloo, 2026-10-25

### ***** "this game has saved my mental health"
a truly perfect game. i bought it on switch and am so glad it’s here on ios now. gorgeous graphics, cozy music, beautiful storylines that lean heavily on community building and inclusion. in a world that feels so heavy and disconnected, this game is my saving grace. i’ve found books in this game that i’ve now read in real life. it’s encouraged me to slow down and pay attention to how i’m engaging with people in the world. i’ll never shut up about this game. worth the price and well beyond. brilliant.
-- tiger226, 2026-10-24

### ****- "A love letter to literature"
Ignore the 1-star reviews; the app makes it very clear this is a “try before you buy” thing. Blame Apple for not having proper demo support.

Super fun and cozy, very interesting to learn about some new books. The recommendations system is the main “puzzle”, it’s very satisfying when you find the perfect book for a patron.

It’s a little confusing that the visual book size on the shelf does not align to the number of pages in the book; frequently when looking for a recommendation you’ll see a thin book that’s 500 pages and a fat book that’s 100. It makes it confusing to look for books based on their page count.

Also, sometimes it’s unclear why a recommendation was not accepted. For instance, I have twice gotten the feedback “___ Doesn’t seem like a fantasy book!” For a book that was from the purple fantasy category.
-- FiscalBasilisk, 2026-10-24

### ***** "Beautiful and fun"
This game is lovely, it has its quirks and silly characters but I love that it is based on love of books. I often look up some of the titles on it to read myself! Thoroughly enjoy this game and I hope they include more sites in future updates!
-- SHM0987, 2026-10-22

### **--- "Not upfront about cost"
I really like the game but super annoying that it costs money and you don’t find that out until you download it
-- #tiger123, 2026-10-19

### ***** "Feels like it was created with love"
Get to know the new towns people curate your bookstore for their needs and give personalized recommendations. I was thrilled when I was able to sell one of my real life favorite novels to someone looking for a good book.
-- Ploskd, 2026-10-17

### *---- "Sellout cash grab"
Downloaded the game, opened the game, saw you had to pay $7.99, instantly uninstalled.

If you are going to charge for your mobile game, please have the decency to express that upfront instead of getting my hopes up by thinking it’s free.
-- Nop3 780, 2026-10-13

### **--- "Battery drainer"
Cute game but overheats your phone and wipes your battery.
-- Pupkiwi, 2026-10-11

### ***** "Love."
I would say this game is very calm. I use it to rewind after a long day, I seriously cannot go a single day without playing. I downloaded this game just a few days ago, and i’m already in winter. I play it anytime I get a chance to. The $8 is definitely worth it. The characters and challenges are fun and unique! Overall, this is a great game and I recommend it.
-- urmkmisveryverydecioul, 2026-10-10

### *---- "Not free"
You need to pay $8 for the game
-- kaktusegor, 2026-10-08

### ***** "Very lovely"
Not a tycoon, which I adore. All the characters fleshed out. All of the books are real! everything about this is great.
-- Srazor12, 2026-10-04

### ***** "💯 recommend‼️‼️"
Best game ever
-- BookNerd.., 2026-10-03

### ***** "What a cute little cozy game!"
I am in love with this game!! The graphics are well done, the plot is really fun to follow and I love being able to decorate my little book shop! Great game, only problem I have is it makes me ipad and iphone really hot, extremely hot so I can’t play for long periods of time on either.
-- Sfurrow, 2026-10-02

### ***** "Improvements could be made but amazing"
I’m so upset o finally finished the game and am unlocking all of the achievements now but nothing else lives up to it. I would really like a way to save boos that I see but haven’t read to a list, have a larger option of decor to pick from that actually matches different vibes rather than a ton of random stuff. I would also appreciate more events to look at for the year and more things to purchase at the flea markets and other markets. Just a few things to add but I love the game and really hope you make a new one or an update soon! I would definitely be willing to pay more for it
-- Lovelysvalentine, 2026-10-02

### ****- "Really cute cozy game"
I bought this game for the vibes. It’s really fluff, with a cute story line, fun customization and interesting adventures. I also love the literary theme. Unfortunately it’s not the best phone game (might work better on a computer) because my brand new phone overheats quickly while playing the game and it drains the battery very quickly. Unfortunately I have just about finished the game and I’m hoping there will be future game play updates.
-- Timtomfoolery, 2026-09-29

### ***** "Great game!"
Tiny Bookshop is an excellent game! After running through the demo, I was more than happy to pay the developers for their work. I much prefer to pay for a game once than having to sit through ads or be bombarded with paying for extras.
Like other reviewers, I have a longer TBR list than when I started. The diversity of titles is amazing. Authors and topics I recognize as well as those that are new to me abound. Philosophy, nature, self-help, romance, queerness, murder and classics abound.
-- WiGeekMom, 2026-09-26

### ***** "Amazing - wish there was more to play!"
This game is so cozy and fun. The exact right amount of challenging and repetitive to feel novel (pun intended) yet relaxing. My only complaint is that I want more content! I earned all the badges already, and it’s not keeping my attention anymore without challenges to achieve.
