I booked a tour for the Alhambra, Granada, Spain. We were there at 9:30 for a 10:00 tour. The guide never came. I tried to contact them with no success. I requested a refund and they refused. I was in the right meeting point at the right time! I have texted them over and over. They still refuse to refund the tickets. Do not book tickets with this company!
Purchased tickets for Banff Sunshine Gondola on the app, hoping to skip the long line to buy at the resort customer service desk. The QR code from Tiqet did not work at the gondola and we were sent back to the customer service line which we had quit waiting in when I purchased the tickets through Tiqet. Ultimately we had to wait twice as long!
The customer service team member I worked with was so bad they couldn’t answer a simple question about an outdoor events weather policy. I had to ask it several different ways and they just went around the question saying as of now it’s open. Ok, got it... but with rain clearly in the forecast it would have been nice to know if the event was rain or shine. They could not give me an answer to “If it’s raining, will it be canceled or rescheduled?”. It impossible for them to answer.
They claim its 72 hour public transportation but basically wh it is only a 72 hour bus ticket which buses only goes so far when you also need trains to get around. You can purchase a 72 hour travel ticket in the train station for 18 pound and and a 72 hour bus ticket for another 18 pound. Instead of 56 pounds. Then go to the city of Romes website and purchase a musuem ticket that lets you in all the museums for another 30 pounds. THIS APP IS A RIP OFF, PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY DO NOT REFUND EVEN IF YOU DONT USE THE TICKET.
So easy to use .
Useless app
I bought many tickets. most are good. but a tour guided ticket gave fake location. No one and no shop there. The Tiqets customer service is irresponsible. They won’t help and no refund, of course. Be careful. The tour guided tickets are possible scalper tickets. Very expensive and you might not find the shop when you go there. Screw your vacation and time.
I would not recommend utilizing this app or it’s services. Booked a non-refundable ticket on the wrong day and reached out immediately to find a resolution. No assistance at all. Book on a different site.
Guide was ok, but the headset equipment was completely dysfunctional (needed Four separate headsets until they found one that even [barely] worked, and the tour office staff were uniformly incompetent. Strongly recommend the you avoid Tiqets tours!
