The Today in the Word app gives you fresh daily Bible content, new studies each month on complete books of the Bible or biblical topics. Authored by Moody Bible Institute professors, you’ll find the devotionals easy to read and listen to, but with rich insights that deepen your understanding of each Scripture passage. BUILD THE HABIT OF DAILY BIBLE READING with the newest version of the app. A “devotional streak” lets you track and improve your habit of regular time in God’s Word. You can select any translation of the Bible you prefer. Each day has a beautiful Bible verse graphic to share. There are additional resources for each month’s topic. BEST OF ALL, IT IS FREE! There is no charge for any feature of the app which is fully funded by generous readers who believe in the importance of Bible study. By signing up for a free personal account, you can keep your Bible study notes, track completed readings, and save your preferred Bible version. Here are 5 reasons to make Today in the Word devotional app your #1 choice: 1) GET SMALL, BUT MEATY BITES EVERY DAY One reader writes, “This is spiritual meat, and I am very grateful.” With Today in the Word, you’ll learn more about the Bible. Each day’s devotional can be read or listened to in less than 5 minutes, but the content is rich enough if you want to spend additional time digging into each passage. We study an entire Bible passage, not just a “feel good” thought based on one verse. 2) READ THROUGH THE BIBLE, COVER TO COVER Have you read through the entire Bible? With the Today in the Word app, you will study every book of the Bible, even ones that you might not have explored before. We aren’t afraid to tackle the tough stuff! Bible professors make even the most difficult passages understandable and help you walk away with a direct application for your life. 3) GROW IN YOUR FAITH JOURNEY “A life changing experience” and “a spiritual revival to my heart”, readers say that this isn’t just about reading the Bible, but letting it change your life! While you may believe that spending regular time in God’s Word strengthens your faith, putting it into practice can be difficult. The app can be used alone or for group study. Each devotional ends with questions that can serve as journal prompts or discussion starters. 4) GET MONTHLY BONUS RESOURCES - Watch video interviews with devotional authors - Share beautiful Verse-of-the-Day graphics - Select your preferred Bible translation - Receive push notifications that remind you to read the Bible - Record and save your study notes - Listen to audio of each devotional - Listen to abbreviated or full-length audio of each devotional - This app offers push notifications to remind you to read. - Track your reading consistency with a “streak”! - Join a Facebook devotional discussion group 5) JOIN MORE THAN ONE MILLION READERS! Today in the Word readers access the devotional by app, email, audio podcast, and website. We have nearly one million readers in 225 countries who love to spend time in God’s Word. We hope you will join this vibrant community! AVAILABLE BIBLE TRANSLATIONS The app allows you to select your preferred Bible translation. Choose from NIV, ESV, KJV, NLT and more. Change your translation as often as you would like and save it when you sign up for a free account. NO HIDDEN CHARGES! Our commitment is to provide this Bible resource at no charge for all. We depend on the support of generous readers to meet the financial needs of this ministry. ## Today in the Word Devotional Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a2/f1/c1/a2f1c1d8-db85-fc73-4210-62a2d536fd4a/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_1.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/d7/c8/7f/d7c87f5c-cfc6-a876-6cb0-fbbd9bdbe175/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_2.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/88/13/b7/8813b7a6-a86c-f778-4092-2d7a45ab198d/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_3.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/33/2e/83/332e83d9-0014-2523-b7d6-9045a3bc2d3c/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_4.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/09/a4/ff/09a4ffb4-f752-79a7-b988-21877c3a8382/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_5.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/8f/f9/10/8ff9107f-93f8-2a88-1078-63a6a1bcb39f/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_6.jpg/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/52/19/f4/5219f408-322f-bd7b-439a-c1dbafe95aa5/IOS_ipad_2048x2732_7.jpg/2048x2732.png) ## Today in the Word Devotional Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 10,900 (92%) - 4 stars: 651 (6%) - 3 stars: 116 (1%) - 2 stars: 43 (0%) - 1 stars: 85 (1%) ## Today in the Word Devotional Reviews in United States ### ****- "Daily Starter" I love this app to get my day started! It is Jesus centered and challenges my mind. I do miss the “Go Deeper” section of the devotional in the app. Please return it 🙏🏽. Blessing! -- QBint, 2024-12-29 ### *---- "Horrible App" This is one of the worse apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. From a very glitchy performance to absolutely no customer support makes this app one to avoid like the plague. -- Charles_Blakemore, 2024-12-21 ### **--- "Disappointed" I’ve only been using for a couple of weeks and most days I’m unable to view the Devotional for Today. -- Dqueen78, 2024-12-13 ### ***** "Praise Worthy" Today in the Word is exceptional. It gives you a daily verse image and then the devotional. It has a place where you can check off as complete. I also love it gives you a place to write in notes. -- Pandachick20, 2024-12-11 ### ***** "Daily reminder" I truly enjoy my word. Even through the hustle and bustle through life. My word reminds me every day on who to spend time with. -- David S. 1980, 2024-12-11 ### ***** "Thank you!" Thank you for your spiritual support and biblical direction over so many years I have lost count. Merry Christmas ❤️ -- Gapemp, 2024-12-11 ### **--- "App Review" I live on the west coast. The app stops functioning as early as 7pm and doesn’t start up until after 10pm pst. I’ve reached out to the support team but received no resolution for the issue. It appears to be some sort of app maintenance being performed each day. -- Jesbc, 2024-12-02 ### ***** "Excellent work Steven Sanchez! Great writer!" Excellent -- Debra de, 2024-11-24 ### ***** "." . -- qgm99, 2024-11-20 ### ****- "Application not working" The application is saying loading … and does not load. This a recent issue. Is this application still available for use or should user go to the website? -- Carlsealy, 2024-11-11 [View all Today in the Word Devotional reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Today in the Word Devotional Discovered Keywords -
