Take back your screen time and stay focused with Refract. You don't need a minimalist phone or a dumb phone to stay focused. Choose Refract — the AI-powered focus lock tool that turns your phone into a productivity companion, outperforming alternatives like Clearspace, Opal, and ScreenZen. Refract is the screen time blocker that helps you build self control, reduce distractions, and block the interruptions holding you back. Refract combines everything you need to stay focused and make progress: an intuitive task list to stay organized, AI-powered goal tracking to keep your big picture in view, personalized app blocking to clear mental space, and intelligent reflections that appear when you try to open a blocked app, helping you pause, reset, and choose your priorities. It’s your all-in-one focus lock for staying on track. Whether you want to get off your phone, concentrate better during a study session, or create your own minimalist phone experience, Refract is the smarter way to stay focused. Block Apps & Reduce Screen Time App Blocker: Block unlimited apps that cause distractions — ideal for cutting down on social media and regaining screen time control Distraction Redirect: Replace impulse opens with task prompts or motivational goal nudges App Limits: Sessions on blocked apps are limited in time, serving as a focus lock and helping you stop doomscrolling AI Goal Tracker for Focus & Motivation AI Goal Breakdown: Set and organize goals into manageable action steps Motivational Nudges: Stay focused with reminders connected to your vision Progress Tracking: Watch your progress update automatically as you complete tasks Daily Task List for Productivity & Self Control Stay Organized: Prioritize key tasks that align with your long-term goals Momentum Builder: Complete tasks, track wins, and keep your focus sharp Personalized Interventions & Focus Lock Focus Levels: Visualize how quickly you're moving toward your goals Smart Reflections: Personalized AI prompts when you attempt to open blocked apps Minimalist Interface: Simple, distraction-free design that keeps you grounded Why Choose Refract Over Clearspace, Opal, and ScreenZen? Comprehensive Task Management: Unlike Clearspace and Opal, Refract offers an integrated task list and goal tracking, keeping productivity and focus aligned. Intelligent AI Prompts: ScreenZen lacks personalized reflections and goal nudges—Refract's AI-driven interjections provide context-aware support exactly when you need it. Minimalist Yet Powerful: Refract provides a balance of powerful productivity tools in a minimalist design, offering more functionality than typical dumb phone solutions or overly simple minimalist phone apps. Whether you're trying to concentrate, reclaim your freedom, or build screentime control, Refract gives you the tools to choose intention over impulse, rivaling apps like Clearspace, Opal, and ScreenZen. Refract is the screen time blocker that helps you stay focused and get things done. Turn your phone into a tool for growth — not distraction. Download Refract and start your journey today. ## Today is the Day Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/5c/93/88/5c93881b-779c-14dc-6af6-e6f03c3f8c52/image1.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/77/da/4e/77da4e54-2a4f-44a9-8748-9a737bec61d1/image2.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6c/73/97/6c739738-b7a9-5bee-e1f6-0b652477d30c/image3.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c6/a8/1e/c6a81ed3-5bab-d544-9a88-e80186fab759/image4.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0d/85/b6/0d85b6aa-9705-3247-9e5a-96a511c44e9e/image5.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/20/ed/5e/20ed5ec2-543e-1251-b48a-4a432ef33e8d/image6.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/fa/ad/bb/faadbb91-c03d-6929-fea4-4cb270a057de/image7.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/df/0c/f7/df0cf7d5-cc8d-26cd-e94d-e4d295812179/image8.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6a/1a/15/6a1a157f-e52e-c726-2477-462dc715c396/image9.jpeg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/24/82/98/2482986a-eeab-22d1-3f78-a16202aa7567/lightmode.png/1242x2688.png) ## Today is the Day Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 201 (58%) - 4 stars: 47 (13%) - 3 stars: 32 (9%) - 2 stars: 10 (3%) - 1 stars: 59 (17%) ## Today is the Day Reviews in United States ### *---- "Total Scam - Avoid, $65 a month for a “free” app!" The Refract app says it is “totally free while we develop it, but we’ll give you lifetime access for a single payment of $9.99!” However, I’m getting billed $65 a MONTH for this “service” from “Todayistheday,” but there is no obvious way to unsubscribe. I can’t log in on the web site, no “Cancel” button I can find on the app, it doesn’t show up as a subscription on Apple subscriptions, and the only phone # we can find is an AI agent that never connects you to a real person. -- SavAtty99, 2025-12-11 ### *---- "Today is the day" This is a rather deceptive app. While it may be beneficial to some, the real benefit is to the author. What they fail to say is that they sign you up for exorbitant Recurring fees and then refuse refunds. Beware!! -- GypsyjaneG, 2025-11-18 ### *---- "Have asked twice to cancel subscription, no response!" Don’t join, you’ll regret it -- Bedfordbichonmom, 2025-10-23 ### *---- "Rip-off" I canceled my account in the app. I’m still getting billed! -- Wordseeker2, 2025-10-18 ### *---- "DON’T !!!!" Program will not run. Freezes on second page. I have deleted & tried reloading, but still nothing. I bought the App in AUGUST and today is OCT 1. Past attempt for help has gone unanswered. Yet I am auto billed every month! -- Cynnamint, 2025-10-01 ### ***** "Great app" I love the goal/task oriented focus of this app. It does a great job to create friction from distracting apps. This kind of limit saves you from having to delete the apps. Great idea. I wonder if a widget is in the works. I’d like my tasks to be front and center. -- Stevizl, 2025-08-16 ### ***** "Great idea!" Useful and user friendly -- Chabagaba, 2025-07-28 ### ***** "Love it" This app helps me to focus on my goals.. overall it’s a great app👏🏻💗 -- KiCarrr, 2025-07-25 ### ***** "It really helps!" This app really helps resist the urge to scroll. My work breaks are much more effective now that I'm not sitting in the bathroom scrolling for five minutes! -- dre99 to the nth degree, 2025-07-23 ### ***** "Actually helped me make art again" Refract made a big difference for me. It tracks your goals and makes it just hard enough to open social media that you end up doing something better instead. I’ve been making art again for the first time in ages. Super helpful, well designed and fun! -- Boriqua787, 2025-07-23 [View all Today is the Day reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Today is the Day In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Founding Member Lifetime Deal | $9.99 | ## Today is the Day Discovered Keywords -
