I have used this App for almost 10 years and have been very impressed. 
Am in Europe at the moment and the App frequently will not search a destination. Just says ‘ No route available’.  Also the audio voice will not work. I have all the instructions to correct these issues to no avail. 
I cannot get a response from anybody to help me so am very frustrated and looking for an alternative App.

Love the App - only issue is that the speed zones have dropped from 100 to 80 or 70 all over New Zealand and the app has not updated to the 2021 changes. Especially Napier rural.

The GOOD. the traffic is spot on. amazing when side by side with apple and google maps. the alternative routes are excellent too. the side bar is good. 
The BAD. locks you out when there is a map update. updates are VERY slow to download. so i find a revert to apple maps 1/4 of the time. Also it’s slow to load (30 seconds +)
WOULD LIKE. turn by turn on the car dash like apple maps and in car navigation does. i think apple blocks this. 
SUMMARY. good but frustrating.

I tried this for about 2 weeks and kept finding my iPhone battery getting badly depleted due to background use of this app. I also found that the maps in my area of NZ were badly out of date, missing roads and speed limits were out of date by 2 years. So I have had to uninstall it as it is unusable for me.

I have used many other maps.  This is the best.  Easy to use.  Easy to add places abd favourites.  Easy to remember where you parked the car!  Very well priced.  You won’t regret purchasing.  Comprehensive maps. Often updated.  I like the ability to change the route to walking.  Cycling.  Missing toll roads. Great product thanks.

I’ve been trying to change maps on my iOS TomTom GO for two hours now, and I’m getting nowhere. It doesn’t have to be this hard, surely?

### ****- "Lack of flexibility"
Having owned numerous Tom Tom GPS units through the years, the new format has some good features, like the route bar and it’s traffic warnings.
The old products had far mor flexibility and features. Colour selection for better visibility on motorcycles where sun and reflection is a constant is highly limited and sometimes practically non visible. The speed camera button will only work once in every 10 tries. So much for assisting other travellers.
Quick selection buttons disappeared with the new button and only “home” and “work” still exist.
The GPS is slow to the point of being irritating.

This application is so unreliable. If you are in a location where there is no internet, the app just takes forever to load. In addition to that, the places in the app is outdated (like gasoline stations that are no longer there). Even the speed limit is nowhere near accurate.

App does adequate job, i.e., if will get you from A to B but how efficiently and “legally” is a while other issue.  Speed limits and roading are out of date for my parts of my city not to mention rural areas by over 24 months! It insists on routing me through the city centre rather than around it, at peak times (and suggests the wrong speed limit). It also often routes me ACROSS major roads when there is a light controlled junction only one block away. So, as a general route it’s fine but very sadly lacking in other aspects.

I’ve been using Apple CarPlay for a few months now, & whilst it is good, there are a couple of things that would make this a great app....1/ Sometimes searching on CarPlay is slow, and/or sometimes shows no results. But put the same search using the app on the phone, & the results are immediate? 2/ The spoken instructions are minimal ‘Keep right’, ‘Exit ahead’, etc.... I often find myself having to look at the screen for a split second, when my eyes should be on the road. I would like something said like ‘take exit number, signposted.....’, or ‘Turn left onto ‘..... Road’. Remember when using navigation, in most cases, a driver won’t know the roads. So being able to hear clear spoken instructions, with informative information, mean eyes can remain on the road.

I’ve not had chance to fully try this yet but when the in app purchases essentially saying you’ve got less chance of getting by an advert (potentially getting in a crash) if you buy it.

Please just sell it instead. It sounds like it might be safer. As the survivor of two major car crashes I think your advertising may be somewhat irresponsible
